Clevinger and Plesac optioned to the Alternate Training Facility.

If we keep Clevinger there for I think 20 days it delays his FA for another season lol. I wouldn’t hate trading Clev at his peak, though I like him as a player. I think Plesac is the better pitcher in the end. His right splitter is nasty and he has much better control.

So apparently if the Tribe wins today, they will set a record for 19 wins in a row over one opponent.

Yanks have beaten Baltimore 18x in a row (current streak). So that may be true, but NYY could easily get to 20+ this year vs them

Yeah, I would bet on the Yankees doing it to the Orioles.  I read that the MLB record is 23.  It was in 1969-70 with the Orioles over the Royals.

Hand with a shaky save but in his defense they had a catchers interference call on a DP ball that would have ended the inning and a blown third strike call but he regrouped to get the last out.
