While most teams would be devastated after first losing a pitcher like Clevinger and then have a Kluber go down, I feel pretty good about the staff that we have left (the three starters for this series along with Jefry Rodriguez).

And I need to remind myself that coming out of April at 16-12 is lots better than the old 9-19. 

Difference this year is Twins probably ain’t going anywhere.

I mean last year they pushed the Tribe for a bit. I don’t remember, but seems like it was 60-70 games and then we won going away. This year, I don’t think the Twins fade. It will be a battle. Loser may take the WC, actually, if the AL East beats up on each other enough.

Edit: maybe I am thinking of 2017 lol. Twins sucked last season.

wow, I was thinking the same thing the other night--crazy...tick tick tick...

Good news, I suppose. Kluber expected to miss at least 3-4 weeks. The at least leaves the door open to longer, but last season someone has the same injury around the same time (May) and didn’t come back until August. 

Now just need him to be a plus pitcher. Hell, he can be our 3rd or 4th best, just be better than he has been. 

More good news. Indians Twitter posted a video of  Clevinger throwing pretty hard.

That’s great. Some people that I talk to believe he will be out for the year.  Kluber, too.

I remember Tito saying it would be 6-8 weeks before Clev even picks up a ball.  It’s been a few days shy of a month when he was injured.

Yeah Clev is way ahead of schedule. I think Kluber, since he is avoiding surgery will be about 5 weeks then a 2 week or so rehab. So, call it 2 months total.

Wow, our DH is batting 9th (Bauers). 

Wow, Underwood and Manning doing a ton of justifying tonight and we're only in the second inning.

I hope that I get to hear Rick say "expand the zone".

I think that Andre should have his own TV show.
