The schedule in the second half is brutal. Tribe may finish 15 games under .500

To be fair, the remaining schedule is average. We just aren't very good. We have 16th (out of 30) toughest remaining schedule with an opponents' winning percentage of .499

Thats weighed down by the shittiness of Twins, Royals and Tigers (plus Texas).

VERY GOOD (31): Tampa (4), White Sox (8), Toronto (4), Oakland (3), Boston (6), Milwaukee (3), Yankees (3)

AVERAGE (6): LAA (3), St. Louis (2), Cincy (1)

SHIT (31): Minny (9), Detroit (6), KC (10), Texas (6)

Basically, our out of division games are brutal. We are saved by the Tigers, Twins and Royals. Only team outside of the division I would expect to beat in the current form is Texas. Meanwhile, 7 very good to average teams plus the White Sox. I'd think we would need to go like 23-8 vs those bad teams, then like 16-22 in the others (plus Houston tonight). That takes us to 86 wins and probably eliminated with around 10 games to go.

You have proven my point that it is an average remaining strength of schedule. The problem is that we just aren't a very good team right now. In years past, we dominated the bad teams. This season, we have lost several series to bad teams.

Right, but my point was the bad teams are all in division. Texas is only out of division team that sucks. Easily couldve had Baltimore, Texas, Pittsburgh, Cubs in the second half for 9-10 games instead of Tampa, Oakland, Milwaukee and wed be sitting here thinking we could make a run. Granted, wed probably already been burried, but that was my point. Only 1 reprive when leaving the division in the entire second half.
