WTF?........What is this based on?

And I always thought the 10 minutes after the top of the clock start time was weird. smh

Likely has to do with local advertising. My guess is Oakland has an NBC affiliate as well as some other local one. They will have different start times from the half hour or hour mark depending on which broadcast it is and how many ads they have sold for their games that season.

EDIT: I was close. Only have an NBC affiliate in Oakland, but Saturday is an FS1 game, and they only do 5 minutes before first pitch. Concept remains.

The A’s uniforms are looking good.

Please Cody, get out of the second without any more damage.

Was 2-2.

NRamirez gave up solo hr, down 3-2.

Plawecki doubled, Martin bunted him to 3rd, Lindor sac fly to left. A's left fielder uncorked a throw on the fly to home plate, Plawecki beat it with a head  first slide. 3-3.

Vball got the rest of it.

Anderson sent down, AJ Cole brought up.

We better have Bauer go deep into this game.

I’ve got no idea if I’ve ever hated an Indians team who will likely end up with a winning record/contend for postseason. But I’m close to hating this team. They do soooo many things wrong and it’s unfortunatkey leading to losses

I agree.

How many shitty games have we had so far this season?

Lindor is starting to piss me off with his running. In his first at bat he smokes one over the right fielder’s head and only gets a single. Then Kipnis grounds into a DP.

Jose Ramirez botches a grounder in the first, then lost a pop foul.

Tito also is making me mad with the approach he allows. Green light 3-0 I am usually in favor of, but not every batter deserves it. And it completely goes against his philosophy on bunting...which he just cannot stop doing. It’s maddening. And playing for the tie on the road is so goddamn stupid, especially with a dead bullpen.

On bunting: I think it’s appropriate in certain situations. However a manager should know who can bunt and who can’t. Use that knowledge.

And I agree on not playing for a tie on the road ESPECIALLY with a worn bullpen.

Oh, and on 3-0........ pick and choose who deserves the green light.

Two sucky games in a row.

I concur on most of the above and will add....

How do you get to the major leagues and NOT know how to sac bunt? ( Not just an  Indians problem ). How do you NOT insist that guys like Greg Allen make this a priority?

Moving runners along is a lost art.

If this team makes it to the playoffs, it will be because of great pitching and Tito’s managing, but every once and a while he makes me scratch my head and say WTF. Playing for a tie on the road is bad enough... but doing so with this weak, anemic offense ????? C’mon man. SMH.

Im ok with giving your best hitters ( JRam, Frankie, Santana and CarGo) a green light on 3-0 provided they’re hitting well,  but with the rest of the guys, be happy with getting them on base with a free pass and moving thru the dead spots in the order.

And so it comes to pass what so many of us predicted after the Opening Series of the year... we are going to lose a lot of low scoring games.

let's face it, we're just not very good--we're a .500 team at best, and hoping for anything but a wild card is a pipe dream....defense today was pathetic, and only 2 runs on 10 hits...again, this team is just not very good.

Leonys on second base with two out and a 1-1 count on JRam tries to steal third and is easily thrown out.  SMH

Still 2-0

Roberto Perez with a 2 out 3 run homer.

5-2 B6.

And this constant drum beating is getting on my nerves.

Another dumb ass base running blunder by Lindor. He leads off the 7th with a single. The next batter is Freeman (yes, batting second today at .238). With the count 2-0, Lindor decides to steal and is thrown out. Freeman walks and JRam grounds into a DP.

Face palm

5-3 B7 (A’s had a solo shot)

Jefry out with 6 innings and 3 earned runs

The ball is handed to Cimber.
