On Hammy:

In the T8, Alonso hit a drive that would have made it 12-1, but Engel made a great leaping catch for the 3rd out. Hammy goes foaming ape shit crazy about what a super catch it was. I'm like: dude, don't make your voice equate to a Tribe walk off on a great catch by our opponent. It's great to recognize a wonderful play.....just jack it down a couple notches.

So going to the bottom of the 8th, with Cimber coming in and Engel as the first batter, Hammy says: Well, at the end of this day, Carrasco will be 14-6. I'm saying how about STFU about that til we get 6 more outs.

Engel hits a home run. Then another homer.

Then the 9th.

Otero and Allen.....geez.

Hammy admits he may have spoken too soon in the 8th.

(And I will insert that I can't stand how he rolls his R's, like when he says "three" )

But, overall, he is usually excellent.

Just not today.

End of rant

Hammy going “ape” over opponents great plays is EXACTLY WHAT MAKES HIM SO SPECIAL. Sorry BRF, he is a homer like all of them, but his enthusiasm for all great plays and performances sets him apart for me. I love that about him.

I knew this would be coming.

Did you get the part where I said that I appreciate acknowledging great plays by the opponents, but just not equating it with walk offs?

So we agree to disagree.

That was one of the best catches I’ve seen this year (in a Tribe game). His reaction was well deserved. The guy just loves great bas

On MLB Network Engle has the #1 and #2 plays of the week and this one looked almost  exactly the same and maybe a tiny bit better

Its incredible how some guys get so many opportunities at such robberies

And he (Allen) is continuing to blow his now save situation.

9-7.

...and he came within a foot from blowing the save on Friday night as well--the guy is hot garbage right now, plain and simple

Not sure if anything has been posted about this but it sounds like this illness that Leonys Martin has is gravely serious. The team can't divulge info on it but it sounds VERY bad, if you get my direction.

Regardless, we all know Hammy is the GOAT.

Allen didn’t do anything last night to warrant this post. He has been bad this year, though.
