And this game is slipping away, too. 

That's the first relay throw Mercado's made this year that the relay man could catch and throw without making an adjustment. In other words, right on the button.

Today......Bauers LF, Freeman 2B, Plawecki C.

 

And in the 6th, Tribe has one run and four hits: Bauers - 1 hit, rbi, Freeman - 2 hits, Plawecki - 1 hit. 

And I'm not dogging Mercado. That kid has made some darn good plays out in Center this year, and a couple outstanding ones too. Problem is he doesn't have a CF's arm,  he has a LF's arm.......and he's terrible in Left.

All of winter and spring should be left field for him.
