Got Bauer and Plutko for a short series in Chicago. Let's do this

So glad Tomlin is out. Plutko is serviceable, but wish we had someone further along in development (like Clev was). McKenize and Beiber just aren't there yet, though.

Can Melky be a big time addition? I mean, he definhas a plus career at the plate, and last year was contributing. Not expecting his all star form, but just being solid and extending the lineup would be a huge lift.

He's in the line up for tonight. 

We up, though, 1-0. 

He now has 4 W. 

It seems like guys are going on the DL for a fricking hangnail anymore—we have to have the softest outfield in baseball.

Miller gives up a single to Schwarber and is yanked with 2 out in the 8th in favor of Allen.  

Miller however looked a LOT better out there in his inning and two thirds  

Allen gets out of it  

To the 9th.

Damn....Allen finishes it off for a 1-0 victory. 

That was a really good win.
