8 Teams. 4 games a week. Half on Fox, half on NBC. I cant speak to the Fox Production, but NBC is investing a "Notre Dame level show". Everyone is playing in Birmingham this year.
NBC airing 8 on big network. 8 I think on USA. 4 Exclusively on Peacock (and I think all will be streaming as well).

I am the account manager for NBC Sports for my company. Was looking forward to "relaxing" after the Super Bowl. Then they dump this.
On top of that, the fact Amazon doesnt have a sports department, so NBC is doing all production for them for next years TNF. We thought it would be an Amazon rebrand for the graphics look, but its not. Its going to be NBC. So I go from an entire new graphics rebrand for the Super Bowl this year with normal SNF and ND regular season. To another rebrand, and essentially another ND season that has 2 games a week and is longer. Just a lot of work haha.
Honestly, I will watch.
I've watched all the dumbshit NFL spinoffs in recent years. Even the "fan controlled" garbage.
Does the rock own it now?
Don’t these leagues always fail miserably and quickly?
Browns got some decent talent (Kevin Mack, Frank Minnifield & Dan Fike) from the USFL back in the day.

The only one that had any staying power in anything resembling recent times was the old USFL, which at least made it three years. But that was the 80s; if anything, the NFL has far more of a stranglehold on the world of professional football. The old USFL had lots of elite players who went on to have a lot of NFL success. Now, odds are it'll be another XFL where they'll be trying to come up with gimmicks to try to get people to not notice that roughly 100% of the players are guys who aren't good enough to make the NFL.

I don’t travel anymore, thankfully. Though I do have to ship off to LA for Super Bowl.

Sounds dreadful to be in SoCal in the middle of winter

It's not enjoying LA though. It's sitting in a cold truck (around 63 degrees) for 12-15 hrs a day. At least I love the LA food scene, if we get out in time for dinners.
They always fail because they think that they can compete in the NFL market. Never going to have any other sports league in the major sports that are going to unseat the top leagues

Yep. I always try and explain to people that nobody wants to watch professionals that aren’t the best. Like, why do I care to watch people who are pretty good, but can’t make it in the top league.
The only time I get into it is soccer promotion/relegation. Cause there is a legit stake for the winner moving into said top league.
I can't imagine putting investment money into this. The first year with all the games in Birmingham sounds beyond horrible alone. Like all of these that come along, a strong first week of TV ratings due to curiosity will be followed by a huge dropoff and then a quiet folding of the league.
