No matter how you feel about your favorite pro sports team(s) right now, at least you're better off than Las Vegas.
1. Had a 3-1 lead (aka: The Golden State Advantage) over San Jose.
2. Lost two straight to make it 3-3 with last night being game 7.
3. Held 3-0 lead in game with 10 minutes to go.
4. Got a very shaky game misconduct call (full 5 minute penalty, where power play goals don't cause it to end). LV player hit SJ guy with definite high cross check, causing him to recoil into another player, taking another hit, landing hard and winding up bloody and injured. The actual penalized hit didn't look that bad, but it wound up being 5 because of the end result. And, hell, apparently they didn't even call a penalty until seeing how hurt he was.
5. Any of us who follow Pittsburgh know that MAF was a very streaky goalie who could be a stone wall and could also give up goals in a flurry. He did the latter after this, giving up four goals in those five penalty minutes.
6. LV ties it with 2-3 minutes to go and it goes to OT.
7. SJ gets game winner late in the first OT period.
tl;dr -- Team blew 3-1 series lead and wound up losing series after blowing 3-0 game lead due to goalie imploding after ticky-tack 5-minute penalty.
