The NFL has passed a CBA through the 2030 season. In 2020, the playoff field is expanded to 14 teams. In 2021, the regular season is expanded to 17 games.

I can see a 2000 yard receiver, 2200+ rusher and 25 sack pass rusher in the not too distant future.

Yeah, the QB and WR counting stats have been kinda moot for a while now as it pertains to records and all-time lists

I understand the $ part of this but the optics that will trickle all the way down to pee wee.  Here comes a 12 week HS season and REC leagues playing into december.
