Ohio State playing their first game vs SC in Greenville on ESPN2 and takes an early 1-0 lead on a Dingler dinger in the 2nd, but can't take advantage of scoring opportunities in succeeding innings which is ominous.  1-0 thru 4 innings.

In the 5th, OSU can't score from no outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd.  And SC hits one almost over the fence and can't score a runner from 3rd with one out.

OSU gets a run in the 7th on a 2 out rally with an RBI double by Dingler.

3 run HR for SC off the Big Ten ERA leader Kinker when he had a clean inning to start in the 7th!  3-2 SC.

2 more runs off Kinker in the 7th after the SS fails to get his foot on the bag for a force-out followed by a 2 run single. 5-2 SC going to the 8th.

Wright State takes #2 Stanford to the wire but loses in the 13th. Would’ve been a big time win.

After OSU and UNCW play 6 scoreless innings tied at 2-2, the Buckeyes get the lead 3-2 for Seth Kinker, but they can't close it out and UNCW ties it at 3 and came extremely close on a play at home that was OSU's 2nd outfield assist of the day at home plate, both extremely close plays.  Then a lightning delay halted the action after the 11th.

The foul pop-up was in the air down the 1st base line, that if caught, Arkansas would win the world series.  Any of 3 guys could have caught it, but it was like they were in a race to get there first.  The 2nd baseman won the race, but he overshot it by 6' and nobody caught it.  Then the batter with extra life gets a base hit to tie the score at 3 and the next batter hits a home run to make it 5-3.
