Who do you have winning it? I'm guessing the consensus will be LSU.

I picked Clemson because I think their defense will be able to slow LSU down.

I project Clemson, with their experience, will come out calm and get to a decent lead.   How far LSU goes down before they get their bearings to them will determine if they can dig out of the hole.

LSU, I honestly feel like they will boat-race Clemson.

Picked LSU, mostly bc I hope they do, but I just don't see Clemson being able to score as much as LSU. Also, Clemson fans are obnoxious.

If LSU wins, where does their season rank in college football history? Going 14-0 against 6 top-10 opponents is pretty impressive.

They beat:
#9 Texas
#7 Florida (by 20)
#9 Auburn
#2 Alabama
#4 Georgia
#4 Oklahoma

Will depend on where those teams end up ranked. But I assume we still get 5 after Zclemson. Auburn and Texas won’t be T10

LSU will do what OSU started to do, but they won’t kick FGs in the red zone. Really don’t think this will close.

Agree. LSU is one of the better teams I can remember watching, offensively.

It is crazy how so many of y'all are going to be wrong about this.....

So what does everyone think of the time between the semi's and NC game?   16 days is a bit much I think, but would 9 be enough for fans to secure tickets and travel?   I foresee it staying on Monday night to stay away from the NFL.  Only other option is Sunday night after the NFL games but I bet they want the day to themselves so people watch pregame and not just stick with the NFL games running later

So you're going to be right?

Please let us know how much you'll win after Monday night.

I picked Clemson as they have been here before, whereas LSU had not. Clemson's defense is not OUs. We saw Clemson start slow against OSU, but by the end of the game, was unstoppable. LSU's defense is not as good as OSUs, so I expect a big game out of Trevor Lawrence and Etienne. Plus, with the extra week, Clemson will have more time to plan and heal.

Clemson shut down an awesome Bama offense last year in the title game, and I expect them to do the same this year,

I'll be rooting for LSU, and Borrow for sure, and I really, really dislike Dabo and Clemson.  But, my money will be on Clemson to cover the insanely high 5.5 and win late.

So what game did I watch, if you watched the semifinal?

Second half possessions:

  • 4 plays, 7 yards, punt
  • 5 plays, 14 yards, punt
  • 2 plays, 70 yards, TD (screen play that broke off for 53 yards)
  • 4 plays, -9 yards, punt
  • 4 plays, 8 yards, punt
  • 4 plays, 21 yards, punt
  • 4 plays, 94 yards, TD (only “sustained” drive entire game)

True. Very true actually. That last drive was when the dam broke and I can see more of that tomorrow against LSU as LSU's defense is not as good as OSU's.

Again, I'm rooting for LSU and Burrow. But, give me the defending champs as 5.5 points underdogs and at +190 moneyline as much as I hate it.

Did a bowl contest for the family, had like 25 entries, and hoping for a LSU win and a combined score of 77+ so my lil nephew can take home the title and traveling 'trophy'.  Kid is like 7 and knows more about CFB matchups than most you mo'fos on here!

I love being so wrong about that game. (I did end up making money as I took LSU Money line, the Under, even with the Clemson +5.5). I figured Clemson would have the edge after the extra week off to heal and scheme against Burrow. That worked early on, but as the game wore on, Joe just got better and better. That was one of the most impressive Title game performances ever. It is up there with Cam and Vince Young.

So impressed with Burrow and the LSU defense. They really played well the 2nd half as they got to Lawrence and contained him. Geaux Tigers.

OBJ giving $100 handshakes to LSU receivers after the game. Not a good look.

Jesus...not looking forward to the AFC North having to face that twice a year for the next 10+ years.
