Realignment with 2 expansion teams and 4 equal divisions of 8 teams.

Id rather go 6 divisions of 5 teams.

You don't want expansion?

No. MLB is too watered down as is. Most teams cannot even field 4 starting caliber pitchers, let alone 5-7 you need for a full season.

But I do want to get rid of the current divisions and realign them.

Got it.

I'm indifferent I guess. I'd love to see a rebirth of the Expos just because they have the GOAT baseball uniforms. But I guess I generally agree that pitching is hard and adding two more teams makes it even harder.

Yeah not enough pitchers to expand. Every team has to have 20 relievers to use throughout the year.

Gotta give teams credit. When confronted with the "pitchers have to face three batters" rule, they just said, "Yeah, well what if we give 13 different guys three batters each in a game?" And now we live in a world where lasting 5 innings is the new 7 innings and 7 innings is the new complete game.

Kind of like how, once upon a time, a guy hitting 100 on his fastball was a crazy superhuman thing and that guy was gonna be a total stud. Now tons of guys hit 100 and a high percentage of them suck ass because all they can do is throw hard with no real ability to locate pitches, allowing us all to see just how far a baseball can fly when a hitter utterly blasts a 101-mph pitch that's right down the middle.

I love baseball, but some of the ways the game has been altered over time do kind of suck.

I don’t know why they haven’t moved the mound back or lowered it.

Didn’t Theo Epstein say it would take a 99MPH pitch down to a 96MPH pitch just by moving the mound 1’ back or something? The actual MPH remains, but the reaction time given would be that of a current 95-96.

As a former pitcher…I’d love to see big league pitchers actually pitching.

He might hit some but he’s not a good MLB player

So, apparently Aroldis Chapman really REALLY loves his mom.
