Amazing but not surprising.   Dude could take plus there was more of a negative stigma to striking out back then

so that’s basically him striking out 7x in a season.....he never did anything near that and he did it off 3 HOF pitchers....while hitting .396

Think about it some more

Truly amazing, no doubt.   Just meant I was not surprised he had such a low k rate as he had many seasons of less than 20 with 450 to 600 at bats.    

One of the things I forgot about him was early on he was a SB threat.

I remember reading a similar strikeout stat during the ALDS when Judge had nearly as many strikeouts as one of his full seasons. The batting average is crazy.

What is your rotation and will they all be 1.5 ERA better than last year? You could have had a solid team last year if the offense didn't need to average 7 a game to have a good shot at winning, since you didn't have any trouble on that side of things. Just got shelled on a nightly basis.

See where the players and agents are getting fed up with the lack of contracts.   Tossing the C word around and a possible boycott of ST.

The combination of selling off everyone people come to see and raising ticket prices and (by default) being a Florida team means we have an early frontrunner for WORST ATTENDED TEAM this year. By a landslide.

Free agents are there because younger players are abundant with same or similar or soon to be similar skills/projections....waaah

Fortunately, the Rays are tanking as hard as the Marlins (lol Florida pro sports), so the Pirates got some pop in their line-up (Chris Dickerson) and only had to give up nothing (expensive and blah Daniel Hudson when the team has all sorts of random middle relief prospects) and a prospect who is a ways away from potentially contributing.
