The regular season is officially over. How did your rooting interests fair?

As my wife and son both attended Hilliard when it was one school, Davidson is my adopted rooting interest. They are 9-1 with a win over their main rival, the Green Legion of Evil (aka Dublin Coffman) and a three point loss in OT to defending state champion Pickerington Central.

I only have ties to Licking Valley. They finished 7-3, needing to beat Licking Heights in the final game to make the playoffs. They ended up winning pretty big and, I think, ended up with the 7 seed.

Between the schools I attended and coaches at, total record of 27-3.  It was a good year. My son's high school has only existed for 2 years, they are still trying to figure it out and finished 4-6.

Mogadore finished 9-1 and 1st seed in R21, they will most likely win their first 2 playoff games then lost to Kirtland in the Regional finals.

Both of my daughters went to Toledo Central Catholic, and they finished 10-0 and #2 in D2...so pretty good.

Disappointing 6-4 season (Black River) and missed the playoffs. Blew 27 and 17 point leads (I believe) in two of those games. Guess the head coaches son (center) played 3 games with a broken leg. Article in the paper said that he was threatened with delay of game penalties on long runs because it was taking him too long to get back to the LOS.

BR, didn't know you went to Black River, we played them my junior and senior seasons (1995 and 1996). I went to Mogadore.

My girlfriend's son is having his second child with a girl from Mogadore in January. BTW....that's what the "BR" stands for in my username. BR-1986 (year I graduated)-FB (football)

Currently hold the longest losing streak in Ohio. I think they are around 2-38 in their last 4 seasons.

When I moved to the town I currently live in, they held (or were close to holding) the longest losing streak in Ohio (back in 2002). I think it was 5 or 6 years without a win. They won their first game I attended, breaking the streak. I was like "what's the big deal, they won?" only to see some horrific beatdowns from week 2-10. One game, thankfully, got called due to lightning with about 7 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, down 70-0.

For some reason I thought you went to Steubenville.

Also, who the fuck runs Steubenville's football website?  It's stuck in the mid 90s LOL.

Nah, I just reference Steubenville because it's usually the only school people know of in my area regarding sports.

lol and yes, that site has looked the same for years, probably still hosted from Geocities.

Newark went 2-8. They haven't had a winning season since 2006.

I went to Trimble. Those two have had some playoff wars in the last decade.

I think we've figured out why you haven't given a (naughty word) about high school football in over a decade....your school stinks. Lol.

Alma Mater made the playoffs for the 22md straight season but only made it to the regional finals.

Always stayed close to the program with coaching another sport in the town so I always knew the kids and now have my nephew playing so that keeps it more interesting.

Got very spoiled, moved to a new district/league this year and the quality all the way around just plain sucks@
