That's retarded. Ohio State shouldn't get in because the conference has zero good QB's? First of all, that's wrong. Second of all, that argument sucks.

Look at Michigan State in the playoffs two years ago and Ohio State last year. Total embarassments. The only really good quarterback Ohio State faced all year was Mayfield and he tore Ohio State apart. Our linebackers and most of our dbs aren't that good. Iowa's quarterback was able to make the throws any average quarterback should make and they blew Ohio State out. The Big10 is a league with quarterbacks who try to manage the game. Shut down the running game and most Big10 teams are toast. Ohio State had about four sure touchdown passes that Barrett flat out missed. We saw how that worked out last year against Clemson. Is the Big10 actually better than any of the other power conferences?

I can respond to this and make you sound like a complete moron but I'm too hungover to GAF so i'll just say you're a moron.

In 2014 the B1G had 0 qbs in the top 30 in passing and OSU won the title. I'm 2015 the B1G had 2 qbs in the top 30 in passing, including Connor Cook and MSU was embarrassed. In 2016 the B1G had 4 qbs in the top 30 in passing and OSU got embarrassed. I think you have it backwards. They are better off when the B1G qbs suck.

I thank you for an actual reply. I am looking at the Big10 as a conference out of conference schedule. No one in the Big10 beat an ooc team than ended up ranked. There ended up being very few games against ooc ranked teams. I'm a big Ohio State fan and root for the Big10 schools in the bowl games. I question how good the Big10 is when the only thing you have to go on is their games against each other.  Check the ooc schedule for the top Big10 teams next year. Very few to get excited about. The only victories the ranked teams in the Big10 have against ranked teams are against each other.  OSU won the title in 2014 with a stellar defensive group and a great running back that they properly used. The run set up the pass and Jones was able to make the throws to some very good receivers. 2015 they should have had a better team but I think the qb circus derailed them.  I don't think this years OSU team is as good as either one of those two teams. Their lbs and dbs as a unit are both weaker. They struggle against good qbs. How good have the quarterbacks in the Big10 actually been the last two years? Are their rankings due to playing Big10 teams? I don't know if  it means anything or not but the Big10 has not had a qb taken in the first round of the NFL draft since 1995.

Our linebackers and dbs were very inexperienced this year. They didn't start well but they definitely improved as the season progressed. We'll find out how much when they play USC.

I totally agree. I look forward to watching Ohio State's D play against Darnold.

A little disingenuous with the first round stat.  Obviously screw ups by NFL scouts as 2 of the top 5 QBs in the last decade were from the B1G. Also the best young QB in the league is from B1G.

Yes definite NFL screw ups. Looking at this year the best quarterback in the Big would have to be Barrett with McSorley second. I wouldn't waste a high draft pick on either one. If I had to name the third best quarterback in the Big I would pick Haskins. To me it was just a very bad year for quarterbacks in the Big.

The QB from NW is supposed to be drafted this year, but I'm sure you knew that.
