Go Browns!
Moving BR’s last two posts over here:
”Hopefully all of these recent distractions are out of the way and the Browns will be focused. This could be an opportunity for the passing game to get untracked with the Fins missing two starting safeties. I think Njoku will be back which should benefit OBJ/Landry. Just hoping Fitzpatrick doesn't have one of his "lightning in a bottle games." The offense really needs to step up because I have a feeling they are going to have to win shootouts going forward.”
“Miami is giving up almost 150/ypg rushing and about 250/ypg passing. This should be a chance for the passing game to do well and feed Chubb late in the game. Miami runs the ball pretty decent so hopefully they don't control the ball and keep this low scoring. Unlike the Browns, Brian Flores has the Fins very disciplined. I believe they have the least penalties in the league.”
Browns by 28 or Miami by 3
Way to work through that red zone lull for the TD and good start.
Is this game on Fox? It is for me. I thought they only showed NFC
Good throw to OBJ. Him and Higgins were wide open. Fitzpatrick looks awful and defense playing with a chip on their shoulder.

Yes, Fox. And I wondered that, also.
CBS bottom line had the Browns @ #26 in their power rankings....and had Bills #9
I think they are a dozen spots off
Browns offense looking solid. The passing game needed this type of first half. Keep the foot on the pedal in the second half.

I was wrong on the Fins running game. Had heard it was better than this. Also posted my comment about Njoku before he was ruled out.
Uh oh. 28-10
Confidence in Seibert is very shaky
^^^^ for my Browns friends to enjoy
28-17
🙄
They’re gonna blow this aren’t they?
And we get a dose of the worst play in the NFL, a kick off return from your own endzone.
And we would be passing why?
Dodged a bullet there.
Alright, that’s better.
Much needed team (Dolphins) to face on the schedule before Pittsburgh. Miami isn't really good at defending any aspect of the game and their offense was one dimensional. Take the win and move on.
I expect the Browns to have Vernon, Ogunjobi (obviously) and Njoku (think they held him out an extra week for Pittsburgh) back for the Steelers so there should be a different dynamic on the D-Line.

I wish that I had more faith in Njoku. He's a great athlete, but I trust our other tight ends more to make a catch. Also, his blocking is so bad that we almost can't have him in on running plays. I hope that he proves me wrong.

I agree but he adds a different dimension, in the middle of the field, which will open things for Landry/OBJ on the outside. Njoku's athleticism alone has to be accounted for by defenses.
