Giants-Dodgers Saturday and Sunday, busy Monday, then Tuesday & Wednesday Tribe-Los Angeles California Angels of Anaheim and thereabouts.

Indians no longer have a team. Jose Ramirez injury absolutely crippled them. Coupled with Kluber setback the pitching doesn’t look great.

Short of a sweep, it’s hard to get re-invested in this club. And a sweep only keeps them in line for the WC Game, I’ve 90% written off the division. But they gotta play some good baseball just to make the WC game.

I found myself more into the US Open tennis and USA-Mexico soccer. Didn’t even check the Tribe game from 2nd inning until the 10th. And went to bed when I saw it tied.
Yeah, things looking bleak for the division. That trashed 3 run lead against the Chisox the other day is looking bigger and bigger. Worse, you lose the goddamn series.

Too bad. I really like this team,... as it’s constituted now. Maybe if they had had a modicum of hitting the first two months of the season they would be looking good now.You have to give Tito credit for getting this team to the brink, with all the injuries, and the hole that the front office dug in the offseason.
I just shake my head trying to think wtf the front office was thinking in the offseason .... it was practically an abdication of the division.
On the other hand, the trade that brought Reyes here ( + Puig + prospects) may end up one of the best trades ever.

I’m not sure I have confidence in anyone in the bullpen. You could throw Randy Johnson, Greg Maddux and Sandy Kaufax into our own and it would turn them into trash right now.
