For my +2200 ticket…really hoping JT can have a big day today.
Would be pretty cool to see Dunlap pull this off though.
I will be at both The Players and The Masters this year.
Will be lucky to get the final round in at Pebble Beach.
I’ll be at Muirfield Friday Saturday Sunday.
Man, I tried to get Clark (and all the top-5/10) bets in before the round finished and it was clear Clark was going to be leading after Aberg was halfway done with 18.
I think technically I could argue this with FanDuel, but ultimately them voiding all bets that came in late like that makes sense.
Would’ve been a super cheap bet win lol.
Looks like the Waste(d) Management Phoenix Open is getting out of control .............not sure how they rein it back in.
Personally, I think a shit ton of drunk and crazy fans is what golf needs to actually make it interesting for anything other than gambling purposes. Also: The first thing I think of when I hear "Waste Management Open" is the Sopranos.

Man, the videos were crazy. Zach Johnson getting into it with the crowd. Drunk dudes sliding shirtless down muddy hills.
All the delays and long days didn’t help. Lots of down time to do nothing but drink.
Hard to go against Scheffler in The Players, but I went ahead and threw a few bucks on some longer shots:
Hovland +2200
Zalatoris +3300
Conners +6000
Xander +2000
Hovland +2800
Burns +4000
Henley +5000
Theegala +8000
Theegala is so likable . Would love for him to pull it out.
Where did you get Hovland +2800?

DK had him at +2500 and I used a +300 boost. Should’ve clarified that.
Bumping this up as a reminder since there is a new golf thread and I want to keep pro discussion out of that one.
6 Days!

My wife and daughter are going to their second Taylor Swift concert later this year (in Vancouver). I told them that this was my equivalent to a Taylor Swift concert. Probably even bigger, because they are going to 2 in an 18-month period, I've been waiting over a decade to do this.

no doubt. i am running into an issue where the person who owned my house was also entered into the lottery and i'm unable to sign up. I need to work through that and get it figured out this year. i have tried for 12 years now and so far no dice. I'm curious if you only got the chance for the tuesday or if you have tickets for the rest of the week.
I’ve tried the damn lottery for 15 years and never won

Practice round is the way to go. Way more interaction between players and crowd, you can take pictures, course not as packed, etc. Plus if it’s an exciting tournament, you want to be able to watch that on tv.
Have a great time. It’s quite a place.

I dunno about all that. Pictures and maybe crowds ok, but I’m taking tournament all day every day over guys hitting shots without consequence or meaning.
I did Saturday 2019 after hitting the lottery. The charge of the golfers on the back 9 was wild. One of coolest things I’ve been a part of was the (much talked about) roar from across the course and watching the leaderboard operator post a score.

You only get selected for a single day. I entered the lottery for all days.

Same.
I got Brooksy at +2100 next week. Also have Wyndham Clark at +3200.
Feelin' good!
Gonna be in Florida. Just realized traditional books are illegal there. Great. So excited to register for like the 7th sportsbook nationally when I just want to use 1 or 2.
