Perhaps I'm in the minority.  But who cares if Morant is holding a gun?  Is it legal to own a firearm where he is?  What if it were a bball player posing hunting, with a rifle?  I don't mean to be obtuse.  I just don't understand why he is so vilified.  Don't get me wrong.  I am 100% on board with him being an idiot.  But is holding a firearm that egregiously bad?

And yes. When your employer has rules in contracts — and the league your employer is a member of has even stricter rules in place — you deserve to be vilified for being a moron and risking it all.

Ok fine. As long as he isn't breaking the law in whatever state he was in (likely Tennessee so no laws), then he is fine legally. But that isn't the issue here, as you stated.

A few states require some version of registration. I'm not sure which state he lives in so maybe his would be required to be registered.

IIRC, his first incident was in Colorado after a Nuggets loss and that was part of the problem.

He was in a club, right? A strip club, maybe? Could be potential issues around having the gun and also drinking. Not sure if it would be considered brandishing if he wasn't actually trying to threaten anyone. Either way, the guy is an idiot and is going to end up destroying a hall of fame career to impress friends that wouldn't give two shits about him if he wasn't insanely rich.

I’m not sure who feel better about after game 1. Denver and Jokic surgical, and winning by 10+. But shot making seems unsustainable. 

Lakers getting thoroughly outplayed, but keeping it close and their shots are much easier (mostly layups and paint shots).

Nuggets vs Heat finals?? I’m in, let’s go. 

Nuggets bench is horrible, but the 3/4/5 have been awesome. As has Brown. And AD/LeBron have been good, but not Jokic/Murray good. 

Surprised this series is 3-0, but Denver is the better team.

I was thinking Boston had to win tonight to have any chance of preventing this. Instead they lost by 26. 

Happy for both Miami and Denver. Denver because I’ve been a Jokic Stan for like 7 years lol. Miami because Jimmy does it the right way and called out all the players who play/walk thru their career the way I hate.

Lebron said he was considering retirement last night which I don’t think is real surprising. I’m sure the older athletes get, they all consider it at least a little every offseason.
