High potential with Takk. But, ultimately I hope it’s a depth signing.

Definitely. Kind of a Cleveland Indians "lightning in a bottle/reclamation project" type signing. If it hits, great. If not, they haven't spent a ton of money.
They obviously like him as they put in 2 or 3 waiver claims on him last year.
If this is all they do in FA at that position, it will be a major whiff, imo.
I think Berry thought he was going to be able to get one of these top guys for about $12 million. Have heard he stcks at a dollar figure for a certain position, if the player balks, he moves on to the next.
Also forgot to mention that with the league year starting today, there should be a lot more players available due to cuts.

Wonder what they'll do with Njoku. Guaranteed some money by 4pm today.

Danielle Hunter (Edge-Vikings) who sat out last year with a neck injury but had 14.5 sacks in 2019 either wants out or wants a new contract and might be available. The Vikings just parted ways with Kyle Rudolph and there are rumors that Njoku could be part of a package to obtain Hunter. Would help significantly but just can't see Minnesota parting with his talent.
Rumblings on the OBR seem to imply they are targeting a LB right now.
Higgins needs to temper his financial expectations. John Brown just got a 1 year $3m+ deal, with incentives. That's about the market for Higgins, if not less. Of course, I'd be fine if they let Higgins walk and signed Will Fuller. LOL
I want Will Fuller. His skill set would pair perfectly with OBJ and Landry.
Resigned Hollywood Higgins on a 1 year deal $2.38m

Was not expecting that at all, which prompted my want of Fuller. But, I like this resgining.
Ogunjobi signs a 1 year deal with the Bengals
Anthony Walker (Colts-LB) will be in for a visit today. Here's what the Colts GM (Ballard) said about him:
Ballard also commented on Walker during his end-of-season press conference:
"I have a special relationship with Anthony Walker. Selfless. Team guy. Rare leader. I hope he gets into coaching one day or scouting. Mark my words on this: if Anthony Walker gets into coaching, he will be a head football coach in the National Football League. And if he gets into scouting, he'll be a general manager. He's brilliant — absolutely brilliant, and he's made of the right stuff. I know Anthony wants to play more. We value Anthony. We'll see how it works out. I want good for Anthony."
Whoa! Troy Hill to Browns!
4 years $24 million on Hill
Browns have signed Colts LB Anthony Walker.
Originally a 2017 5th round pick of the Colts, the 6’1”, 230 pound linebacker has appeared in 57 career games (48 starts), recording 343 tackles (229 solo), 19 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, 11 passes defensed, a forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries.
Darius Leonard (Colts) throwing out mad love for Walker on Twitter crediting him (Walker) for much of his success.
In less than a week this defense got significantly better with these additions, hopefully the return of Billings, Greedy & Delpit, along with the draft. I still think another DL could be coming in.
Browns just signed DT Malik Jackson to a 1 year deal.

Better player than Ogunjobi and pretty sure they got him for $1 million less than Cincy paid for Larry O.
At this point the 1st round pick has to be an EDGE.
Browns addressing some needs in the off season!!
Browns had Clowney in for a visit. Left without a contract. I'm "meh" on this unless it's a one year, incentive laden prove it deal. Seems like the guy have been living off the reputation of the hit he had on the Michigan kid in college and hasn't done much since.
Seems his best stretch was opposite Watt. So, I’d assume he would be pretty solid for Browns opposite of Myles. That said, I’d prefer to go through the draft unless it’s a cheap 1 year
Clowney coming in for a second visit tomorrow. It's believed they will come to agreement on a deal.
Now he's flying in Tuesday night and meeting with them Wednesday.
Clowney signed to a 1 year deal. Worth up to $10m with incentives.
Concerns that Sheldon Richardson will need to restructure his contract as a result.

Hearing he may get released if he doesn't restructure.
