Saw highlights of the Phillies/Nationals game yesterday in DC. Even though it was spring training, it was representative since it was in a big league park. Really weird hearing the sounds of the game with no crowd. 

So is the OF: Mercado in center, DomSatana in Left, platoon Naquin/Luplow in right?  Bauers & Allen on the bench?

LF- Zimmer

This is the OF for tonight. With a 30 man roster they could carry 9 outfielders because they have a lot of OF pieces but nobody is really standing out.

Id like to see Zimmer, if healthy, get a shot. Weve seen flashes, and he brings as good of a glove as Allen, but with more pop and much better wheels. Plus his arm...my God. LF seems like a waste of his best talent, tbh.

Agree. Mercado was pretty bad at LF though and his arm sucks for RF. I don’t know if Zimmer can slide to RF, but that seems like a great combo. Or just tell Mercado to learn to play fucking LF lol

I realize that DomSantana is a bit of liability in the field, but are they going to give his strong bat limited ABs?

Given the short 60 game season and the number of decent OF's I can see them playing whoever matches up with the pitching matchups.

Turning out to be one hell of a trade.

For some reason  tonight's  game started at 5 rather than 7.

The outfield is Luplow left, Santana right, Mercado center.

Not on mlb.tv either. Stupid. What is the point of having it?

I heard a theory about replacing DomSantana in the field after his second or third AB if leading, makes sense

4-2 Tribe after 6.

Ok, I'm all for guys having versatility. But Carlos is a fantastic 1B on the defensive side...and Tribe has like 17 OFers on the roster. We really don't need to be trying him out there. Just my thoughts
