I just started a new job as the affiliate manager for a company called Cosidla.  They create body building supplements

It got me thinking what other people here do, and for whom.

I'm a partner in an executive recruiting firm. I place professionals in the HVAC and Building Technologies industry. I'll be starting my 27th year with the company as of this Saturday.

And O-Trap, can you hook a guy up with some samples or discounts? LOL

I own a glove/safety/PPE distributorship, and have for over 30 years now...and I'm fortunate enough to say I love what I do.

I started a month ago for a consumer goods company, after 9 years in the food industry. The change has been refreshing.

Office is in Soho Manhattan. I’m the Trade Marketing Manager. We’re nationwide and working on expansion into Canada and the UK.

I work in Finance (5 years now) for a $3B+ global (but mostly North America)  Apparel company. We have our own brands and also do Licensed deals and Private Label for big box stores.  I would almost guarantee that everyone on here owns something that we made.

Haha!  Maybe.  We'll see after I get going.

I'm intrigued.

Mainly bc the larger portion of our business (that I don't work on) is responsible for probably 70-80% of the t-shirts people use for charity events/ 10 k's/ promotional activities, etc (basically anything that someone would print on, and it isn't FOL or Hanes).

Is it a Canadian company?

I work remotely as a remote engineer for SportsMEDIA Technology (SMT). We have products that I install and operate weekly/for the season for almost every sporting event on US Television. And starting to get into global soccer as well. We also provide a bunch of products for award shows so I got to walk the red carpet at the 2018 Oscars. Proud to confidently say that everyone of you has seen my work.

Just wish I was paid what we are worth... ;)

Essentially. Large public company founded in CAD with the Corp HQ there as well. Most of the sales are in the US though, and large workforce populations in the US, South America, and the Caribbean.

Gotcha. Pretty sure I know the company, and definitely have several tee shirts with that tag.

I won't say the companies, because I don't necessarily want my full time job knowing about the other one.

Full time, I am an Application Engineer that works on the design and application for industrial furnaces in combustion and metal heat treat (helping companies lower their emissions, become more efficient, etc).

Part time, a "local" steel plant pays me very handsomely to troubleshoot and fix their large industrial furnace on weekends. They pay me handsomely (about 3x per hour what my regular job is, if it was hourly).

I make about as much in just working 2 Saturday's a month as I do in about 1.5 weeks at my regular job, which already pays well. So its almost like an extra whole paycheck (because health insurance, 401k, etc doesn't come out of it) for only working 2 days vs a 2 week check.

Have only been doing it for 3-4 months, but it has paid off my car and it will pay off my wife's car next as well as our whole family going to the Caribbean next year. It has really been a "God send".
