Suicide Squad.

The only thing I have to say about it, really, is that Harley Quinn was the best character.

Downsizing on Hulu.

Stupid ending, but I was thoroughly entertaining.

Currently watching Nightcrawler. Well done, great performances, but leaves you feeling gross and uneasy.

Watched a documentary called A Grey State, about a guy named David Crowley who was making a movie called Gray State. I remember being excited about the movie back in the day when he was putting it together. After a couple years of delays, he, his wife, and his young daughter were found dead of an apparent murder-suicide.

I still don’t understand what I watched. And I agree it was terrible.

Deadwood the movie.  Was nice to see the characters again, but it didn't do much for me.

I stopped everything at work and watched this when it dropped. When it was announced, I had my doubt, but so far with the trailer, I am all in.

I watched the Lion King over the weekend. 8/10. It was a good remake, not as good as the animation, but the wife and I still enjoyed it. Hakuna Matata and I can't wait to be king were pretty damn good and had a good potion of the kids in the theater singing along. If you are Disney, I think that is the point.

Yeah, I had initially heard someone say they were trying to do a remake, and I thought that sounded like a terrible idea.  I'm glad they're making it a continuation/sequel.

I have to admit, it actually looks pretty good.

I was also very skeptical until I saw the preview. I like how they made it a sequel and made it look like he has been held back in promotions for his own doing (was a hot shot in the original not taking orders, etc).

The smile made it believe he has done things wrong on purpose as to not get promoted up to a point where he couldn't fly anymore...

That's actually a little disappointing to me.  This has been on my list to watch for awhile, and I like Egerton.  Was expecting it to be pretty good.

You know which of the "let's get their old music back out there" type movies (you know, Rocketman, Bohemian Rhapsody, etc) I found really interesting?

Yesterday. I thought they did it really well with an interesting idea/premise with a surprise "cameo" (won't ruin it). And obviously the music was good in it.

Looking forward to seeing that.

As for the rest, "Ray" set the bar so high everything else sucks in comparison.

As long as you go in expecting a laid back entertaining flick and don't expect Avengers: Infinity War, you will enjoy it (actually liking the Beetles music helps too).

I've never been a big Beatles fan, but I'll give it a watch.

Ray was great, but also released about the same time was Walk the Line about Cash. That was really well done too.

I also rewatched First Man on Saturday. Seemed about right since it was the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. 9/10. I loved it in the theater and loved it on a rewatch.
