Overseas...
Endgame: 9/10. Basically what if you combined the show the Leftovers with a superhero film? I enjoyed it even though some parts were kind of hard to follow.
Saving Private Ryan...again...and still 10/10
Watching Tombstone on AMC..Freaking AMC of all channels. Waching it Twice. I say Fuck all the new Cartoon Movies that are big...I guess I'm just getting old. I'd rather watch old Gunsmoke stuff than to pay for new cartoon stuff. (Bellly)
Saw Captain Marvel and Endgame in the last few days.
Captain Marvel was great. The villain was a little light, but I get it. It's an origin story. - 8.5/10
I actually didn't like Endgame as well as a lot of people seem to have. I mean, it checks a lot of the right boxes, but much of it felt like it fit together too neatly. Not to mention characters who felt a little underrepresented, given their importance. More than a "great" movie, I'd call it a good movie that is indulgently entertaining. Under those circumstances, though, I'd still watch it again. It's got staying power within the MCU timeline, to be sure. - 7/10
Now Blazing Saddles is on at AMC. Might have to watch it even though I got it on DVD. One of the best movies ever.
Unfortunately it's edited....Fuck AMC.
watched "The Show Must Go On: The Queen and Adam Lambert Story" the other night, and found something out I did not know--that Lambert had a cameo in Bohemian Rhapsody as the trucker Rami Malek was checking out at the truck stop:
I finally watched crazy rich asians. It was entertaining but super predictable.
Aladdin. 6/10 - felt like a play more than a movie. Jasmine was an absolute smokeshow.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Liked it more than I anticipated.

You'll have to go back and get a shit load of dimes

yup
The Sun is Also a Star-Total chick flick, but even as a guy it wasn’t terrible. Not as sappy as The Notebook or other crap like that.
5/10
Us-finally got around to seeing this “horror” film. Not scary, not good, VERY predictable (leaned over to the wife 15 min in and got the ending right that early. Really was a boring movie. So disappointed after “Get Out” (same director) was so good.
2/10
major league on a flight home from Florida. 10/10.
Saw the Elton John movie Rocketman last night. I believe a lot of people won't like it but I thought it was very well done. Assuming most of it is true (Elton was the Executive Producer of the film) it certainly gives a lot of insight into who he is. A lot of parallels with Bohemian Rhapsody.
7.5/10

More a documentary than movie: What's My Name: Muhammad Ali. 8/10
I know the story, but I am a sucker for any Muhammad Ali documentary. (The best is still When We Were Kings) I thought What's My Name was well done as it was all in time interviews and fight footage. The fight footage alone makes it great.
MA - 5/10. More suspense than horror, I'd say. Octavia Spencer is really great, but the movie overall could have been better.
Watched Kong, Skull Island last night. What a terrible movie.
Room - 8/10. Brie Larson and Jacob Tremblay were both very, very good.

I actually liked that movie too, I liked Captain Marvel as well. I can’t stand her SJW attitude but she makes good movies.
Only bad thing about her acting is that they should have had her stunt double do all of her running in Cap Marvel, she has the ugliest/weirdest looking run I have ever seen. It’s like she has never moved faster than a walk in her regular life. It looked weird.
I did like Room as well though, it was pretty good. Of course she didn’t have to run...
I Am Mother on Netflix. I really enjoyed it.
Watched Django Unchained this afternoon, saw Rocket Man this evening.
Rocketman - It was ok. More of a play/musical than I expected. I expected it to be more like Bohemian Rhapsody and only have singing in a concert type setting but they would just break out in song whenever. I think Egerton did a good job.
