What phone are you using these days?

I'm more than 2 years into using a Galaxy S7, which I've grown to hate. Our work phone refresh is every 3 years so I'm stuck with the thing until at least next August. I haven't decided if I'm staying with android (would likely get the Pixel 3 if getting a new phone right now) or switching to an iPhone for convenience (both computers I use a Macbook's). I love Android Auto (when it works), but Apple Carplay is alright. Carplay does not have the Libby app (audiobooks through the library) which is currently the main reason I can't/won't switch. If Carplay gets Libby before I am eligible to get a new phone I might suck it up and switch.

I'm assuming a lot of you old fogey's are still using flip-phones.

iPhone X. Had it about 4 months or so. So I’ve got awhile before I change it up.

Galaxy S8. I like it a lot. I've also started using a Loopy Case and I'm a big fan of that, too.

Iphone X. I can't remember when I got it. I think it's been about 11 months.

I don't carry a phone even to this day.  My wife has an iphone...I think it's an 8 but I'm not really sure.  It's the larger one...whatever that's called.

I hate whippersnappers who stereotype seniors, lol

Actually, there's a reason for that stereotype.  My first phone in 2008 was a Pantech flip phone and I wish I still had it.  Greatest phone ever, very ergonomic.  Just felt good.  I could text pretty easily on, good readouts on the outside and the side.  If it was smart I'd still have it today - screen would be a little small to read, though..

Current device is an iPhone 5, have had it four years, I think.  Got a good deal on it, because the 6 was already out.  Will probably upgrade any year now,  Updated it only once, and I didn't like the changes they made, especially in the built-in Maps app, so I just ignore updates.  Keep it simple, silly!

iPhone 6s.  Don't need an upgrade yet.  Plan to run it into the ground.

X since August. I'm pleased. The battery life has been stellar.

Can you get more than a day out of a single charge? I can typically squeeze two days out of my S7 if I'm not on it a ton. It's one of the few things I actually like about it.

As long as I can get a solid 18 hours out of a phone, I should be good.  Goes on charger every night.

Depends on usage. It's my work and personal phone so I'm on it constantly, lots of Google Maps and managing files with Drive. With minimal data usage, I could probably get a day or a little more.

I guess part of the reason I can get more than a day out of mine is that I have it plugged in for running Android Auto on my commute to and from work, so it gets at least 40 minutes of extra juice each weekday.

iPhone X and it's been about 5 months. Love the phone, it's really easy (plus i'm lazy) since our whole house is iOS.

My phone is about 4 years old.  Just replaced the battery, and probably need a new back plate.

Still runs great because it's rooted and I flash updated software.  It's a smaller phone (by today's standards), and I keep holding out for an even smaller phone that is a true "one-handed" size.  Been thinking about the XZ Compact (only smaller phone with decent specs I've seen), but it's kind of ugly and I'm waiting for this 18:9 fad to die out.

But at this point, mainly I'm waiting for the 5G phones to come out before upgrading.

Iphone 6s plus. It sucks but I like not paying for a new one. Haven't had anything other than an Iphone forever, so not sure I'd switch. At least I don't know what I'm missing. Will probably need to upgrade soon.

I have whatever iPhone came out in 2015. Won't switch until I absolutely need to.

iPhone X for the past 11 months. This might be the device that I consider keeping more than 24 months.

Pretty much the perfect phone IMO.
