Children of the Damned was great.

I skipped ahead to ...And Justice for All. It's so damn good, my favorite album so far.

Just realized this album wasn't on the list I linked, it was on a rolling stone list of the top 100 I had looked at earlier.

https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-lists/the-100-greatest-metal-albums-of-all-time-113614/motley-crue-too-fast-for-love-1981-2-194308/

It's not in the first list at all, but 21st in this list.

I'm currently listening to Rose by All Get Out and trying to decide what song it reminds me of. It's been bothering me for two weeks.

I got through Iron Maiden, 'The Number of the Beast' today. That was a great album, I think the only song I knew was Run to the Hills.

Most everything by Maiden rocks!

I've thrown Mozart's Lacrimosa on repeat and am listening to it while I work.

Lots of Cage the Elephants, the Raconteurs, Black Keys, and Gary Clark recently.

Also, that damn Dance Monkey song has been stuck in my head recently.

Going to see this band tonight. Was planning on traveling to Nashville to see them, but turns out they're coming to Cincinnati.

^^The show I mentioned above was awesome. Heard this song for the first time at the show and have it on repeat.

I also love the way they release new music. Instead of releasing a new album every year, or few years, they release a new song on Wednesday's (lol) throughout the year. So you get a new song every few weeks instead of waiting for a group of 10 songs. I think they released 20+ songs throughout 2019 and most of them were fantastic.

^ Kanye did something similar back in 2010 called GOOD Fridays. It was enjoyable.

I have to admit, through all his phases, I've never disliked his music.  It wasn't always high-brow stuff, but it was always ear candy.

Jammed to this album last night on the way home

Junior Kimbrough: You Better Run.

He was a heavy, if not the main influence for the Black Keys.

My wife found a thing called Postmodern Jukebox on Facebook. A guy rearranges semi-recent pop songs into 40s-50s style music and plays them with very talented musicians. We've watched several videos from songs by Metallica to Oasis. It's been pretty cool to listen to well known songs in a completely different arrangement. The Nirvana cover is really good.

Just watched their version of Thriller, sung by Wayne Brady. Really good stuff.

I'll keep an eye out to see if they come back. I love the Midland Theatre, my grandma has been working as an usher there for several years. She got us great tickets to the Merle Haggard show a while back.

Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits fame) over the last two weeks; he has some excellent stuff – fairly mellow.
