The buildings with the giant cement stumps in front to keep this from happening, unfortunately, need to be everywhere. If you are a major city, with parade/celebration/important people caravans/etc you should have the type that can retract at all the intersections that can access said route.

While it sounds like the bail should have been much higher, and perhaps even denied, I don't think that's the issue here. I hope the Right doesn't turn this into the poster child for "under incarceration". I'm sure they will, but that's bullshit.

I saw a poster on another board who's been crying about the defense lawyers in the Arbery trial. Crying about 11 white jurors. It's virtually an open and shut case, but he seems to be secretly hoping for an acquittal...such is the state of "outrage culture" today.

Lol, and the defense lawyers are, if anything, helping it be an open and shut case by being as inept as the prosecution for Rittenhouse. The one dude is pure comic relief, calling for a mistrial over every single thing that pops into his head. Nothing says, "My client is guilty as fuck!" quite like begging a judge to throw out the case for frivolous reasons on a near-daily basis.

I love when lawyers do that. AS if they don't know that a judge will do everything humanly possible to reach a verdict and close the case vs having a mistrail declared.
