TV Shows You Can’t Believe You Liked

I'd probably put Melrose Place here. Horrible show, but I was so addicted to how trashy it was for a long while.

Really hard to put anything else on a "can't believe I liked it" list because the stuff I watched when I was young is stuff I don't look to catch back up with (like, I'm sure I'd think the Cosby Show was pure sugary crap now with really disturbing undertones due to what Bill wound up being, but when I was a little kid, it was THE SHOW). And with other shows, it seems like if it doesn't click or it stops clicking, I stop watching. Maybe a couple of those pseudo-reality shows I've watched from time to time with friends while drinking, like Wicked Tuna and whatnot. Dumb as fuck, but under the right conditions with friends and intoxicants, they can make an evening go by quickly.

TPB, can't believe?!

That's one of the greatest shows in the history of television.

Indeed, it is.

I waited awhile to post this, because as an adult male it is rather embarrassing.

Gossip Girl.

no idea why that show hooked me.

What do you think your probation officer would do if I called him and told him you were firing off guns, and growing dope in the park ?

Probably say "Knock, knock," you'd say "Who's there?" and he'd say "A fucking idiot" and tell you to fuck off. That's what I'd do.

I fell into that one, too.  Wife watched it.  I sat down to watch it with her a couple times, and I ended up with this bizarre curiosity with the dramatic web of deceit and such on there.

I guess I'm a sucker for soapy teen dramas. Gossip girl, 90210 and Melrose Place when I was a kid. Party of Five as well.

I always pretended to hate them when my sister had control of the remote. But damn it if I didnt enjoy the shit out of 7th Heaven (Beil and the blonde helped), Dawsons Creek and One Tree Hill.

The Walking Dead

It was great..then horrible.

Might be the best one on here. I'm embarrassed that I waited until Negan arrived to stop watching. I legit hated every second once they hit the farm house.

I quit during the farmhouse sometime. I can’t remember exactly bc they were there forever. But it felt like they were just planning on staying there and I had enough of it lol.

I stopped watching after the episode where Andrea killed herself. Not because she died or anything, but because it was so poorly executed. I don't remember specifics now, but I remember that episode being my breaking point.

That was probably it to be honest. I started on it because I saw my wife had been watching it on our Netflix account.

I stopped shortly after we found out the dude with the mullet didn't actually know about the cure and getting to Washington or wherever it was. Knew from there on it was just going to be an "our group fights theirs" every season with no deeper plot to look forward to. I don't know how people can still watch this show other than they've watched it for X seasons and are just to invested to stop.

A big one for me that no one has said yet is Greys Anatomy. I don't watch it anymore but I loved it pretty much up until season 12. Also I love watching all the CSI/NCIS/Criminal Minds type shows.

Also Flash Forward was an awesome show so pissed it never really took off.
