My first big concert was Celine Dion in 1998 (right after Titanic soundtrack)
Basically had goosebumps half the night….she was pinpoint perfect.
Not in my top 3 of this list, will think on it while I’m walking the dog.
1. Starship
2. Air Supply
3. Kelly Clarkson
Not my top 3 favorites but more top 3 "guilty pleasures."
1. Winger....I think Kip Winger is very talented musician but my buddy, who's also a metal head, would destroy me for this.
2. Digital Underground (RIP Shock G)
3. Christopher Cross....sometimes ya just gotta have that Yacht Rock

Yep…like parts of all 3 of these
Enya is a good one. Great relaxation, chill out stuff. Beyond that, I'd really have to think. Could pick a couple death metal bands because none of my friends listen to that, but doubt they would disown me over it unless I made them listen to it.

Thing is, I bet they all list Eagles on this if they were posters. They are just too proud to admit it.
Isaac Hayes
Herb Albert and the Tijuana Brass
Nickelback
Damn I'm glad this is anonymous and I have a new VPN

Good job. This took guts.
i'm too old to give a shit what anyone thinks about my choices in music (or anything for that matter). All of my friends know all my music choices and there are several that think i'm insane but if anyone had that big a problem with the music selection in my truck (or golf cart, or boat, or side by side) then i jettison them out of my life pretty quick.

BSB had some bangers. *NSYNC had one of the better christmas albums of my lifetime. i'll die on that hill.

For sure. N’Sync would be up there also. Didn’t like them as much at the time, though Thinking of You and Bye Bye Bye straight own.
I’m sure a lot of my list would consist of bands or groups or singers that bring back the nostalgia of my youth. Something to be said for the emotions that pop up vs the actual songs.posted by Dr Winston O'BoogieGood job. This took guts.
For the brief period that I was married, I actually took my ex-wife and her two sons to a BSB concert.

Well, that took the fun out of it, lol.
True, I'm more diverse in my tastes now than ever before, so they're not as controversial. From a high school dynamic, I'd go with.
Had a bunkmate at OSU who was a big Barry Manilow fan and didn't care what people thought. I had the cool stereo setup in our dorm with the hard rock LP's, and he'd always ask to play his Manilow albums. I'd roll my eyes and say yes, then I'd play Judas Priest afterward to clear the bad juju from the stylus. We laugh about that to this day. Great guy.

Too literal. If friends leave over your choice in music, they weren’t really friends. I get all that. The point was to identify some guilty pleasure music that you may not volunteer to someone in casual conversation. My buddies wouldn’t literally turn on me for listening to ABBA, but I don’t necessarily lead with it when I see them.
Back in the day when I was a bouncer in the clubs, Rick Astley would get the toes tappin'.
These 3 probably fit the mold:
Neil Diamond
Bread
The Carpenters
I really like the latest Harry Styles album.
