while this generation may be pussies, i would say the 50's and 60's were pretty pussy as well trying to ban tons of things like music and attire, calling people with long hair communists ect..  Its all relative.

A WTF moment of a different type....turned out pretty cool.

Wife and I waiting for our table at Spaghetti Warehouse yesterday and in walks a woman that had to duck under the 6 1/2 foot doorway. I’ve never seen a woman near that tall. She was a classy looking lady and looked to be mid to upper 50’s. Told my wife that HAS to be someone who was big in women’s basketball 35-40 years ago.

Heard the family name called for her, did some google research (I mean how many 6’7-6’8 women are floating around?

It turned out to be Georgeann Wells...first woman to ever dunk in a college game and toured with the Globe Trotters.

It's entirely fucked up.  Because of chipped car keys, the only way to steal your car now is to carjack you.  Another one of those unexpected consequences of technology.

Had this discussion with a colleague.  Yeah, it's just a car.  But if it was your livelihood, and maybe you can't afford insurance....
