Looks like they are fighting pretty hard.  I hope they give them hell.

These eastern European guys can be some hard dudes.  I wouldn't want to go into Kiev in attack mode.  It will be important to watch what happens on the home front when bodies start coming back to Moscow.

Have you heard of this "ghost of Kyiv"?  Supposedly a Ukrainian pilot who has shot down 6 Russian fighters in air to air combat.  It would be cool if true.  A russian jet was shot down last night over the capital.

I saw mention of it on twitter yesterday, but haven't seen confirmation of it.

A lot of this feels like propaganda, in that the West has decided they're going to make Putin look bad by pretending the invasion is going badly.

The stories of heroism are probably true, but it's been like two days and they're almost at the capital.  This is like Akron vs. OSU, and the announcers praising how Akron is hanging with them just 30 seconds into the game.

This immediately starts WWIII, does it not? Either way, he sounds like a teenage girl.

People voted for Biden thinking they would get the end of covid and student loan cancellation; instead they get WWIII and a crack pipe.

People voted for Biden because he isn't Trump.

People voted for Trump because he isn't Clinton.

I will,  cheaper energy, less taxes,  retirement growth.  Less government, stronger military.

Not sure why you would vote any other way

You’re also a hack who always demonstrates the “when my guy does this it’s good but when the guy I don’t like does it then it’s bad.”

As far as propaganda goes the Russians are masters of it.  I see no videos of Russians taking any major population centers and parading down the streets with citizens cheering freed from their so called nazi government. They are getting the opposite.

Russian forces invading from the north were already massed to attack the capital less than 90 miles away.

The Russians are holding back a bit and not going Grozny to avoid a worse look hoping the Ukrainian government capitulates to save themselves.  None of this is happening.  In the age of social media the Ukrainians are winning the propaganda war.  The Russians can take Ukraine but they now know they will have to unleash hell to do so.

At this point,  Russia has to take the whole thing or it looks like a failure.

I saw where the Russians were getting close to taking the airbase north of the capital.  Then out of nowhere the runways were bombed.

Wonder who had a hand in that?

Also either the Russians are half asses this or the Kraines have some serious outside help that nobody is talking about

Reports that Russian TV channels hacked to broadcast Ukrainian songs.  Awesome if true.
