The Asian tour continues...

Went here on Saturday. Very good. I was sweating my ass off. Not ideal to eat before going out for a night of drinking.

Visited NYC earlier this year. Slightly pissed at the amount of legit food you guys have to eat and the overall shitty food most of Ohio does. I’d imagine same can be said for any big city though. New Orleans was legit.  Chicago is always great and so is DC. I’d actually say DC is quite underrated when it comes to the food scene. At least I never hear much about it. That doesn’t mean anything though.

New Orleans is amazing. Maybe my favorite food city in America. I’ll be there, unfortunately, over Thanksgiving. Won’t get traditional food, but Cajun/NO is definitely the best substitute there is.

Agreed.  New Orleans is a dump but the food is outstanding.

We decided to get tickets to the Browns game in September and go back.  We only spent a Thursday- Sunday and felt we missed out a lot. So we're doing a Thursday-Thursday in September. Didn't have a bad meal the 3 nights we were there, but Pelican Club was my favorite.

Just don’t go to Bourbon Street (unless already wasted) and New Orleans isn’t any worse than any other major city. But the food scene is absolutely incredible.

My personal favorite is Cochon. They have a smaller place next door for lunch (Cochon Butcher), which I highly recommend. Then the main restaurant for dinner. If your there for a week, definitely do both.

If you want any more suggestions I can post them. But don’t want to plan your vacation for you lol.

No I'd appreciate suggestions.

We were there 3 nights and went to Pelican Club, Muriels, and Crescent City Brewery.
All were good.

Not too many of you probably make it to Birmingham, AL too often.  I'm an Ohio transplant here, and Buckeyes are few and far between.  However if you do happen to find yourself here, I think you'll be surprised as to what a nice city this is.  If here, make sure to eat at Saw's BBQ.  BBQ is big in the south and there are lots of choices.  But Saw's is the best in town as far as I'm concerned.

Mantooth and I went to the one in North Canton. We both had burgers and thought they were good. Mostly standard bar food, but it was tasty.

Carson's in Milwaukee is amazing.   If every pork chop was that good I woild prefer it over steak.

Chicago I think has one.

Went to Paula Deans place in Tennessee recently.  Chicken and creamed corn was damned good.  The rest....pedestrian.

I thought the dumplings at her Savanah joint were pretty good too.

In Richmond Indiana recently we ate at Firehouse BBQ and Blues before seeing comedian Haywood Banks, who is hilarious.

It is in an old firehouse.  BBQ ribs were fantastic as was  a pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese on it.

Fantastic old building and was a really cool place. They also have blues acts and it had started when were were there and it was very entertaining.

Not that there is any reason to go to Richmond, but if you find yourself in the area hit up Firehouse BBQ and Blues

Ate at a tiny place called Rick's White Light Diner in Frankfort, KY on Saturday. It was featured on Diners, Drive-in's, and Dive's at some point. Really cool little spot.

Went to the Casino in Dayton last night and then to Clancy's Tavern.  Warned it would be 90 min for food, but we stuck around.   PRime rib was exceptionally good, and had some leftovers this morning.\Goood stuff
