I kinda liked the pilot of Lovecraft Country on HBO.

I really liked the episode last night. It feels like it is Get Out just extended for 10 hours.
On another note, I was looking through the Netflix homepage. Is it me, or has their quality of shows just dropped in comparison to years past? It seems it is now more and more reality and trash tv? After Dark, I really have only watched some documentaries on Netlfix and even those feel like Discovery Channel knockoffs.
Haven’t watched second Lovecraft yet. But I have really been enjoying Hard Knocks. They’ve made it enjoyable despite no preseason games.
Lucifer (now on Netflix) has been a guilty-pleasure show. Very much lifestyle porn, kind of like Ballers with supernatural beings.
8 new episodes of Season 5 dropped on Netflix. I thought it was the final 8. Didn't care much for it, but I learned there's at least a second half of Season 5....and apparently some sort of Season 6.
So I won't complain about getting more of one of my favorite shows that's actually still running. But I think the indecision about it's status really hurt these 8 episodes. Not a show that would ever win any awards, but the first 4 seasons were a lot of fun. These 8 were...pretty not so great (note: longer episodes, so closer to 12 shows, really).
Anyone watch Cobra Kai? Seems decent enough after an episode or two

Yep, back when it was on YouTube. If you liked the original Karate Kid, you’ll like the series. The season finale to season 2 is just an entirely ridiculous and entertaining episode.
I'm 6 eps in to Dead to Me on Netflix and I'm really enjoying it.
Finally finished Narcos Mexico. First season was a pretty tough slog, but the second season is one of the best in the entire Narcos series.
Watching Chapo now. First season nowhere near on par with Narcos, but the second season has gotten a little better.
No talk of The Boys?
What an awesome show, must watch!
Dead to Me was excellent and I'm looking forward to the final season.
Might watch Justified next.

You were jealous I get to watch Friday Night Lights for the first time and I am jealous you get to watch Justified for the first time. Great show.

I watched a few random episodes with my stepdad years ago, but figure it's time to start at the beginning.
Justified seems like it would be right up your alley.

Julie Taylor fucking sucks.

I’m on season 2 Ep 3. Good show. Anybody Check our raised by wolves yet? That is going to be my next show. My SO and I are watching Ratched. Only one episode in and I’m not impressed hopefully it gets better. It def is a AHS vibe and I liked some of their seasons but not all
Raised by Wolves is on my list.
I barely could get through the first episode of Ratched. I think I'l bail.

Saw this show up on the top 10 list the other day. What didn't you like about it? The trailer looked interesting enough.
Took me awhile go get caught up, but finally on The Boys (just watched E1). Holy shit, not what I was expecting at all.
I've been watching Rust Valley Restorers on Netflix. Entertaining show if you're into car restoration shows.
Started watching Twin Peaks on Netflix last night. Two episodes in, I'm liking it a lot so far.
Pretty cool Seinfeld connection in the first few scenes of the show.

Justified is fantastic. One of my favorite shows.

Once you finish it, see if you can find the third season that was released on Showtime a few years ago. Twin Peaks: The Return is one of the oddest, outside the box, and best shows I have ever watched. It is 18 episodes and it is really, really strange.
This is just one part.
Right now I am watching Lovecraft Country, which has its moments.
I finished up Amazon's Utopia last week. That show is way too on the nose in some spots. It is alright, but sometimes the real world just took me out of story.
I am also watching the Boys season 2, which is just awesome.
I started the latest season of Fargo last week, set in 1950 KC. It is pretty damn good and the typical Fargo story line of organized crime that the previous seasons focused on.
I am looking forward to the Haunting of Bly Manor which drops this week.

I finished it a few weeks ago. It was fine. It started strong, but really nose dived after episode 2. I thought the story didn't focus on Nurse Ratchet enough. It is typical Ryan Murphy, meaning it is really good in spots, but really bad in others.
I never finished S1 of Twin Peaks. Way to out there. The concept was awesome, especially for early 90s or whatever. But then they went away from reality and dreams and it was too much.
