Finally finished Community. It was good.

posted by kizer permanenteSo I’m on season 5 of The Sopranos. And it’s a good show. But I’m not sure was more unrealistic... dragons in the GOT or that every woman finds a fat bald guy attractive in The Sopranos.
I'm halfway through Season 2. It is a really good show. I do laugh at the late 90s, early 2000 references. I was in high school and it is like traveling back in time.
I still have it below shows like the Wire, Breaking Bad, and even Mad Men for me. But, I think it picks up steam in season 3,4 and 5. On your point, it is the power they like not how he looks...

They way they ended the season....ugh, like ships passing in the night.

I get that aspect, but there’s girls who he meets outside of his mob world who don’t know him yet are supposedly attracted to him. That’s the far fetched part for me.

They may not know who he is but they can see he has a lot of money.

Yeah that’s true I guess.
Started watching Alone on Netflix last night. I'm hooked.
2 Epsiodes into Zero Zero Zero. Interesting so far.
Floor is Lava on Netflix. Dumb and corny but kind of fun. Surprised Netflix picked it up and not apart of ABC’s prime time summer lineup.
Finally watching The Deuce on HBO. Very well done.

I watched the first group of the first episode with the milf. It was interesting, but I don't know I'll watch anymore of it.
I finished season 6 of Alone. Awesome show if you're into wilderness survival stuff. Hulu has seasons 3-5 so I'm going to go back and watch those now.

I'm working through Alone. My favorite part of these types of shows is when they're doing the introductions, it's a couple minutes of bragging of their outdoor knowledge and skills. And without fail there's always a few that it takes them a bewildering day and a half to start a fire.
Beautiful Boy (movie) on Prime. If you struggle with addiction, or know of anyone who has, you MUST take the time to watch this movie.
I can’t remember if I’ve posted this or not, but we have been binge watching The Goldbergs. Hilarious. Jeff Garlin picks up his greatness from Curb Your Enthusiasm and George Segal is a timeless classic. Some of my kids sometimes call their mother “Beverly”.
Another binge watched show is Mom. Lots and of LOL’s.

Even though WRONG THREAD, I just watched this based on your post. Really good. Brutal, but good.

I use to watch a lot of network sitcoms and The Goldbergs is probably it for me. I was kind of surprised they’re bringing it back again in the Fall.

Yes....Goldbergs is like Seinfeld meets the Wonder Years.
I have a lot of great comedy to catch-up on - Goldbergs, 30 Rock, Parks & Rec, Modern Family, Last Man Standing
I am halfway through season 3 of Dark. It is still confusing as hell, but so good.
posted by gutI bowed out on Modern Family a couple seasons ago. It's a funny show. Just didn't like how every episode had the plot of some big confusing mix up.posted by friendfromlowryI use to watch a lot of network sitcoms and The Goldbergs is probably it for me. Kingdom, one of my favorite series of the last 6 years, is finally on Netflix starting today. I can't wait to rewatch, and I highly recommend it. Jonathan Tucker's performance is excellent.
Finished season 3 of Alone on Hulu. It's easily the best reality show I've ever watched.
After I finished Dark, I picked right back up with the Sopranos. I'm up to Pine Barrens in Season 3, which I know is one of the best bottles episodes ever.
My wife is binging her way through Orange is the New Black. She is on the last season now and usually crushes 4-5 a day. I've caught some parts of episodes here and there and it is not bad.

I heard similar feel to Office/PnR/Good Place/etc.
Is that true? I am almost done with my current Star Gate Universe (never watched it through the end of season 2 originally) and will be looking for something to start soon.
Not at all similar to The Office or Parks and Rec.
It's funny, but not on their level.

Goldbergs is hilarious. I loved the Wonder Years as well when I was a kid.
Modern Family is funny, but I always just watch it if I am flipping through chanels and it is on. I have never watched it from beginning. Same with Last Man Standing.
