Breaking Bad S5E11 is such a great episode.
Breaking Bad S5E11 is such a great episode.
I'm back to working my way through the episodes of MST3K again. Since it was a TV show and I'm watching it on my TV (through YouTube), I say it counts!
A few days ago, got to where Mike replaces Joel as the main guy. And last night, came to a realization that this show is a big part of the reason I enjoy watching micro-budget shitty horror films WAY more than a person should. I'll be watching those and having an internal monologue going on that really resembles what Joel/Mike and the Bots are saying out loud during their films. I was watching the Teenage Strangler episode where that movie was made in Huntington, West Virginia and was basically amateur hour where most of the people in it had no acting experience and it showed in a big way with a couple of them. It was basically an older version of some of the micro-budget stuff I've watched, which made the episode even more hilarious for me.
^^^^^^^^ I loved watching that show!
Back in the 60’s, we had Ghoulardi out of Cleveland and he used to do stuff like that with old movies, too.
Thanks for sharing that MST3K is on YouTube. I will check it out.
Speaking of YouTube, we recently ditched our Directv and are streaming. The old dog is trying to learn some new tricks. I have been binge watching Bar Rescue. I love watching John Taffer rip into people.
Other shows we have been binge watching are The Beverly Hillbillies and The Good Fight.
Finished You season two a few days ago. Horrible, but I'm glad they finally went all in on the crazy at least.
Still working on Six Feet Under by myself and the rewatch of The West Wing with my husband.
Just started Cheer on Netflix tonight. So far so good.

Love Six Feet Under. I watched it with my wife, who grew up in a family that owned a funeral home. It was a fascinating watch with her. The series is pretty spot on and accurate about the mechanics of the funeral business. Also, the characters and stories are great. The last few minutes of the series is one of the best endings out there.
I'm almost done with the Boys on Amazon. Awesome show and commentary on superheros.
I'm two seasons into Peaky Blinders and loving it.
The Good Place returned last night and was great as always.
Next on my docket is the new season of the Expanse.
Finished Breaking Bad. GOAT.

I finished Cheer the day after I posted this (it's only 6 eps) and while I expect absolutely no one on this board to watch it, I thought it was excellent.
I watched the first 3 episodes of Servant last night on Apple TV+.
Uhhh...it's fucking weird. I'll keep going.

I watch You with my wife and S2 was all over the place. Just saw S3 was picked up, which makes sense given the last scene. I'm glad to be done with the Forty storylines.
Wife and I started Mrs. Maisel S3 last night. Alright first episode. I love Tony Shalhoub (Abe Weissman).
Starting the Aaron Hernandez series on Netflix today. I listened to the Gladiator podcast by the Boston Globe back in October, so I'm interested to see if there is new or different info in this show. I've heard good things.

I actually liked season two a lot more than season one. Forty ended up being one of my favorite characters by the end of it, old sport.
Halfway through S2 of YOU, and pending how they wrap certain storyline, I like it was more than S1.
Two episodes in to Better Call Saul. Good start, I'm interested.
Finished YOU S2. Thought it was really good.
Anybody watch “Don’t fuck with cats”? Messed up. Watched episode 1 of cheer w my wife. Not sure about it.

I'm on E6. This season is off the rails, but I'm still watching. I'm also in love with Delilah.
Also finished Servant. Ending pissed me off. Shoulda known gong into an M. Night Shamalalayanann series. Waste of time.

I watched dfwc and that was insane. Def glad they caught the guy. I watched cheer with my fiancé and we both enjoyed it. Very similar to last chance u. I like those type of shows
Finished the Witcher on Netflix, fun sci fi fantasy show 8/10
I watched 5 seasons of Schitt's Creek in about 2 weeks 😬. I really liked it and am excited to get caught up on the 6th/final season that's currently airing.

I've thought about watching Schitt's Creek.
Don't know if scfy/time travel is your thing, but Emily Hampshire is amazing in 12 Monkeys.
I've heard great things about The Expanse. I think S4 just dropped on Netflix so I have some binging to do.
Schitt's Creek is a good show.
Restarted curb your enthusiasm before I watch the new season. Episode 1 has me laughing out loud.
Also started the morning show. 4 episodes in and it not too bad. Almost quit after the first episode.

I have got to pick up 12 Monkeys again. Stopped watching it after S1 mainly because my wife didn't like it much. I planned on watching the rest myself but forgot. I liked it, but I am a SyFy nerd.
Wife and I just finished S1 of The Society, she liked the drama side of it while I liked the SyFy side. It was pretty well done.
Not sure when S2 is going to be out.
