Watched 'Manifest' the other night---I liked it.
Ok so I'm officially loving the new season of AHS.
*Spoilers*
So for those who watch, did Michael put Constance's soul into a robot? Is that what is going on?

First new TV show in many years where I saw a preview and wanted to watch it. Interesting concept. First episode was a bit cheesy, but I'm willing to see how it goes. Has a delicious Twilight Zone feel.
Brought to mind the "Resurrection" series from a few years back - sounded interesting, I watched the opener, but the second episode was flat, and I gave up[. Did anyone watch that? How did they explain the appearance the dead "Returned" person, while their original corpse was still in the grave?
Anyway, I want to see on "Manifest" if they mention what FAA officials saw on their radar screens 5.5 years ago, and if it showed up again in the same spot it disappeared from. Also, after the plane landed, if they pulled the black boxes before it blew up, and what they showed.
I never watched Lost from start to finish, but what I did see of it reminded me of Manifest.
Veep is a pretty funny show. My wife just watched the first 2 seasons on Prime and I caught an episode here and there.

Veep is fantastic.
I'm about halfway through Maniac and really like it. Jonah Hill and Emma Stone are pretty great in it.
I'm pretty excited for the return of the Good Place tonight.
Veep is very good. So many sitcoms could have been so much better, had they allowed swearing, vulgarity, etc.
Finally finished Ozark. I fucking loved it, but the ending was a little meh.
I echo the previous post about Laura Linney. She killed it this season.
Just started Maniac. Two episodes in, not loving it, but I feel it's something I should stick with.

I really enjoyed episodes 4, and 5 so far. They are more out there.
I'm so glad to have the Good Place back. After everything that happened on the tv yesterday, it was refreshing to have an actual show showing people being good.
Just started episode 3 of Castle Rock. The opening scene of this episode was nuts. Great show so far.
Anyone else watching Better Call Saul?

Best show on tv right now. Kim is easily the best charcter on the show and her slide is great to watch. The last 15 mins of the last episode were really good.
I have Saul recorded but haven't watched any of them yet. I'm excited to get started, tho.
Got back in to Man in the High Castle last night. I had watched through the first episode of season 2 way back when. Watched the next two episodes last night.
With the new shows kicking off the two that I "picked up" to see how they were are New Amsterdam and Manifest.
I was originally more interested in Manifest by far, and it seems good, but New Amsterdam's first 2 episodes were REALLY good.

ditto--we like them both...btw, checked out 'Happy Together' last night--it sucked.

This is a filthy lie!
btw, your thoughts on AHS or have you been keeping up?

I haven't seen last nights yet, but last weeks I thought was a waste. Why set all those characters up and then move in others in the end?

When you watch last night's, you'll get it. Great episode. Love the tie-ins with Coven and Hotel.

I knew Coven would be involved, but was very nicely surprised by the Hotel scenes.
I watched AHS last night. I agree it made sense as it was nice to get some back story and tie ins. I guess I still don't know the purpose of the first 2-3 episodes then? Why not just start the season with what we saw last week and just go all in on the warlocks v. witches? Why spend time with these two young kids, when they are straight dead now and maybe, maybe not, coming back? Did Sarah Paulson's character in the first 2 episodes serve any purpose?
I also laughed when I saw the episode title because it reminded me of the SNL Church Lady just yelling, "Satan!"
This weeks episode was all basically a flashback. I'm guessing next week we jump back ahead to current time and we may find out about it all.
I'm 6 episodes in to the second season of Man in the High Castle now. It's getting very interesting.
