I loved Westworld.  To each their own, I supposed.  Example - Gut thinks 12 Monkeys is a top 5 show, yet it's not on one other single person's top 26.

LMAO....Time travel sci-fi is a limited genre.  If you think Dark is a top-5 show that blew your mind, you probably can't handle watching 12 Monkeys.  It will screw with your head about 100X more than Dark.  Very, very few shows have ever left me staring at the screen just going "wow".  It's been called the best sci-fi on tv, and the best sci-fi in the past 10 years....but less than 1/3 of the way thru the first season you know it sucks.

Similar characters, motivations, mechanics...and inspired by similar source material.  I literally don't know how someone likes Dark won't love 12 Monkeys.  It's not like I'm comparing 12 Monkeys to The Wire, or even Doctor Who.

I really liked Fringe when it was on TV, definitely should watch it if you are a syfy fan.

The other one I haven't seen that seems consistently highly rated is The Expanse.

I'll wait here for a quote where I said it "sucks."  I DID say it isn't as good as Dark.  But I'll wait...

Never said I didn't like it.  Said that I think Dark is better.  Try to keep up.

I would say that Roseanne exceeded my expectations. Probably need to get a few more episodes in to know if it's honestly good, or just the novelty factor.

What are your thoughts now? I miss Mark and David. I think it's odd that they omit or gloss over characters. They mentioned Roseanne's youngest son Jerry one time and they haven't mentioned Jackie's son at all to my knowledge. I guess being that it is a sitcom they feel that it's not a big deal. Crystal showed up in Tuesday's episode and she wasn't in the last few seasons of the original run. They are definitely doing it in a weird way, but I think it's ok overall. I guess the ratings went down a little bit this past week.

I watched the first episode of the new season of The 100. Decent start to the season, there are a couple potential storylines that could be interesting.

I haven’t looked into it much. I happened to have a subscription already. There’s probably a 30-day trial you can do. That’s what I did originally.

we like it as well---very creative in the way it's presented, and we love the outtakes at the end showing the actual persons the episodes represent

If you grew up in the 80s, you should love the Goldberg's.

And you said that after 2 episodes when there's 30+ hours of story left until the final season.  12 Monkeys starts off a little rough, for more than some, but Dark takes about 3 shows to start revealing its story, as well.  Ep. 6 is where it 12 starts to find it's legs.  And it gets geometrically better from there.  If you're not into by then I guess the actors just aren't working for you.

I could see how Dark may have more mainstream appeal, because it's just not nearly as dense or complicated, not yet anyway.  And 12 Monkeys is definitely heavier on the scify, meta and existentialism.

Best show on tv right now.

Spycraft meets great story telling about a husband and wife and their relationship. The final season so far has been fantastic.

It's been great so far the entire series, I just don't know how the writers wrap it up satisfactorily in just 4 episodes.  I feel like it would need a few hours of "where are they now" and I don't think we'll get it.

Haven't watched it, but I really liked Jeff Garlin in Curb Your Enthusiasm.

I'm a couple episodes behind...the shine is definitely wearing off a little bit.

Started The Good Place on Neflix a few nights ago...digging that bigly.
