For me it's Larry, Curly and Moe.

It came to my attention lately in a Cleveland trivia book, that that order was created by Captain Penny.  Some of our older Northeast Ohio posters will remember him and his show back in the late 50's and early 60's, which featured The Three Stooges.

Apparently, in other parts of the country, the order is Moe, Larry and Curly.  Captain Penny felt his way sounded better. 

It's kinda like pop/soda and devil's strip/tree lawn.

How do you say it?

Moe

Larry and Shep

Larry, Curly and Moe for me.

Joe was 71 in this pic and Moe was 76, both died 2 years later in 1975

Curly died at age 48

Shemp oldest born in 1895 but died in early 50’s

Joe (sucked) made it until 1988

He was really bad, indeed. 

Both Curly Joe Derita and Joe Besser. 

Since the iconic line goes "Dr. Howard, Dr. Fine, Dr. Howard", the order should be either Moe, Larry, and  Curly, or Curly, Larry, and Moe.

At the beginning of several of their films, they show portraits of the three in the order of Curly, Larry and then Moe.

I've always said Curly,Larry & Moe.

For some reason, I've always thought it was just Larry, Moe and Curly.

As I first posted, it appears as though the majority of outside NE Ohio chooses Moe, Larry and Curly.
