Tell me this....around town where I am the mailman was a very respected person who worked every day come hell or high water....and did it until they retired. Nowadays there is a new mailman every 6 months and subs all the time.

Something with Postal Service or just hard to find good help nowadays?

I'm going with this.  We live in a world where "the grass is always greener," and everyone is too good for the job they currently have.

I'm 64 years old.

I got it right the second time and have been married for 25 years.

I have 6 kids.....ages 34, 32, 30, 23, 23 (twins), and 22.

I have three grandchildren.....ages 5, 3, 1.

I may have some kind of record for having two vasectomies, with a reversal in between.

I taught in the public school system for 36.49 years.

And I am enjoying my retirement very much.

Same thing here, old carrier is gone and now it’s “by committee”, and at least once a week they get too far behind and just don’t deliver the mail since we’re at the end of the route, and bring it the next day. (I’m signed up for their informed delivery service so I get an email in the morning with what’s coming, which makes it obvious when they say fuck it and go home without delivering it). Most days it doesn’t affect anything, but if I have something important coming it’s fucking annoying

I'm sure the new carriers suck, but they’re set up to fail regardless.

My general immaturity and shenanigans do a good job of fooling people!
