When I was in HS or college, I could probably pound that. Nowadays, I'd rather get COVID than McDs. Shit's the nastiest fast food; makes Taco Bell seem like actual fine dining.

But what if I get Diet Coke?
I kinda want to give this a try now. What's the cost on this?

Take it from an old man: don’t
I've still got a sliver of youth, it's either now or never.

Those doubles don't look right. The patties look like they have a larger diameter than normal, and then put them on a quarter-pounder bun. Does McD's have different size buns for regular hamburgers and QP's?
So basically 1 pound of meat, say 1/2 pound in buns. 2.5 lbs of french fries, 5 lbs of liquid - that's 9 lbs of mass down your gullet, not including the nuggets (no idea how much they weigh). The buns and the fries are a problem in that they take up a lot of room. The meat is dense, that's gonna just sit there.
To me, the Coke will help stretch your stomach during the meal, plus you're probably peeing half of it away in the middle of the meal. At 61, I might be able to do it and not drop dead, but I'd be miserable for the next 72 hours. At 30, I could have done it and only been miserable for the rest of the day.

Meat sweats

I can't imagine how that dude's body survives these contests. Watching him sweat like that is disgusting. It's awesome too.

The regular hamburger buns are smaller than the 1/4 pounder ....quarter pounder burgers almost triple amount of burger than hamburger. Those are made with burgers hanging out like commercials to make look bigger but a big sand which nonetheless

Holy shit. If the challenge is 4 double quarter pounders then I definitely couldn't do it
Two DQPs in a minute. Holy shit.
After seeing it in action, I'm out. Probably could've done it 15 years ago. Definitely 20 years ago. Not today.
I was a competitive eater in college. Could have done it then. Not today.
I thought those were just doubles. Ain’t no way I can eat 4 double 1/4lbs. That’s about 12 regular doubles lol.
Think this would be a big ole no.
Anyone tried any of the eating challenges at places that have been on Man Vs Food?
Tried one at Bubs Burger in Indianapolis. Got about 87.8% through it and was just done. You just get your picture on the wall. Its essentially one massive burger and I cannot believe by the looks on the wall some finished 2, or 3, of them!

I did Bubs burger challenge. But didn’t have time to finish. Not sure I would’ve, but got 75% of the way. With my cousin, and her 8mo old just couldn’t stay any longer.
Did the Roast in Raleigh, got 12 hot dogs down. But the record is like 25. Could’ve pushed 20, with just one sauce. But the challenge is coney-style, chili/mustard. The chili just kills you. At least he holds the onions for the challenge lol.
Shake Shack is on the way. My order:
Didn’t order fries, but I doubt my wife eats all of the ones she got. Haven’t had fast food in over a month, don’t see tomorrow morning going well.
Update. Finished in 8 minutes. Wife surprisingly ate most of the fries, but I got about 10 of them

About 30 minutes later I was still hungry and had 2 slices of leftover pizza lol.
Hey, it’s cheat/takeout day!
