I've used a Mac in the past, and since then, most of my laptops have had Windows, but I've been dabbling with a few Linux versions lately (I'm actually on one as I type this).
Anyone else find that they really enjoy Linux, or is it Mac or Windows all the way?

My Macbook I bought in 2010 is finally on it's last legs. It keeps shutting off regularly on me. I am not sure what to do next, because I pretty much just use the laptop for basic shit. I've considered an iPad, but there are some things I still would need a computer for. For work we have the surface pro 3 (windows) and it has been growing on me. When I work from home I just connect the surface pro to a docking station and expand it to two screens. I wish Apple looked into making iPads that could interchange between iOS and macOS software, because I would easily go that route and use it the same way I use the Surface Pro.

My work machine is a macbook pro, my personal machine is a macbook pro. I also have a surface pro tablet with keyboard cover. I've ran Ubuntu in the past, but it's been a few years, though all of my servers are command line linux. I guess I hit all three.

I like apple for everything but laptops. Because I use Windows for work (excel heavy) I am used to and like the functionality a lot better than a Mac.

When I started on computers, I was Windows all the way. Knew a little bit going into college and was starting to expand on my knowledge of hardware/building, etc. Then I got my first job/career in 2004 and they were all MAC. I HATED it. But that was 14 years ago, and I'm Apple/MAC all the way... with everything.

Use Mac at work and windows at home.. No real preference and dont mind either one over the other. Never messed with the Linus stuff so really have no real comments on it. If I had to choose it would be Windows right now, but could see that changing in the future.
