Lazy Days...What Do You Do?

Typically for me these are Sundays but the weather related days off have led to some lazy lazy days.

For me...sleep in until around 9-9:30. Check my phone regulars and watch some sportscenter type show as I get going. Make bed, start laundry as needed.

Choose lunch, think up some stuff I need to get in town (I live on edge of town)

Watch too many comedy reruns, scan phone a ton. Typically play some rummy, Yahtzee or wii golf.

Cook dinner.

If weather related go clear off driveways (family, elders)

and negate it all by by staying up too late watching ball games and posting on here

That sounds like a lot for a lazy day lol

I just sit on the couch the entire day and watch shows/movies/sports. Order Uber Eats for food. MAYBE go get ice cream around the block.

I guess pushing snow around needs to be excluded but nothing else really overdoing it

Usually Friday for me.

I take the boy to school,  hit the gym, come home, turn on the office on Netflix, fall asleep,  wake up, grab lunch and do chores around the house.

I don't usually have lazy days unless I am extremely hung over on Sunday.  On those days im vegging and watching TV/surfing the internets.

If I have absolutely nothing to do and don't feel like being productive it's a lot of sitting around reading or watching tv and surfing the web. Now that we have movie pass and a theater within walking distance our lazy days will likely include more current run movies, at least once the weather starts to warm up.

Netflix binge or reading. I can do both pretty much all day.

Sleep in and generally turn one TV to whatever sporting event looks good and the other to whatever video game I want to play. When I get tired of that, move on to whatever TV show or movie I want to watch and finish up by reading for awhile.

The closest to productive I'll be is maybe doing some laundry or washing the dishes.

Doesn't happen all that open and a lot of times, it's because it's a hung over Sunday, so it turns into a "lazy late afternoon and evening" after I get up and start moving, but it's nice to have every once in a while.

Extremely few lazy days.   If so typically up by 8am no matter what.

Had one last Sat with being sick.  Left house for 20 min to go to store and chilled till the games started.   In summer on a rare day I have nothing going on I'll do a lot of yard work.   Sitting around the house when the weather is good is impossible for me

I like to go to the main library in Columbus, get a mocha cappucino, browse the latest fiction,  look at old maps, and hope I get home before my wife finds out where I've been.

I'm in this boat. A lazy day is extremely rare, maybe 2-3 a yr. Sitting on the couch for more than 3 hours makes me bored as shit (unless drinking is involed) . My version of a lazy day is wake up around 8 (I get up at 5 usually) go get some savory pastry from a local bakery, eat and drink coffee. Then go on a 50-60 mile bike ride, shower and clean up the place. Head out for dinner then come home and watch NBA/drink beers. That's about the most perfect day I can imagine atm.
