I remember when jmog and gut argued on the meme thread for 13 pages. Please stop. This could have been its own thread but whatever.

As for the situation being discussed, it's a tough one. I think it's a bad shoot, but I see the arguments for the opposite. I don't think the guy should've gone back in the house to bring out the gun. I don't think the guy should have tried to grab it. I also don't think when the guy with the gun got distance between them the other guy was a threat anymore.

The lack of worry by any party once the shoot happened was weird af, too. Why is his lady recording not freaking out while he's laying dead on the front porch?

a few things:

In Texas, all those things dont matter.  Dude was told to leave and didnt.  He is now taking a dirt knap.

As for the creepiness of it all, thought the same thing and the rabbit hole on twitter thinks its all fake.

Like I said, I think it's a bad shoot. Legality is another story. I don't think it's fake as I've seen news articles written about the situation (I haven't read them, but have seen the links).

I'm pro-gun, pro-self defense. I'm not a fan of some of the loonier on the right strutting over these shootings or encouraging this kid to do so. His best action would to be to become as forgotten as possible as quickly as possible, and not let himself be used.

Kid isn’t a hero, shouldn’t have had to do what he did, but I fully support him suing everyone. Get it done and then go dark. The media should pay for their bullshit.

That's all I have.  They like him simply because the left hates him so much. 

I cringe every time I see him.  Maybe he's just awkward, and/or nervous on these big stages, but I just keep thinking this guy is a future mass shooter.
