If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?

I'm going to have to give this one a little thought.

My initial thought would be one of the founding fathers, probably Thomas Jefferson. Someone like Leonardo (DaVinci, or Turtle) would be cool, too.

Whether you are religious or not sitting down and conversing with Yeshua of Nazareth would be amazing.

I am also with Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, give me Aristotle, Einstein, Newton, etc.

TJ and AL are obvious, guy who wrote what our country is about (DoI) and the man that helped fundamentally fix the biggest sin our country has ever committed (slavery).

Aristotle, Einstein, and Newton are for sheer science reasons.

Yeshua is one of the best philosophers on life and how we should treat other people ever even if you don't believe he was God.

I would have dinner with King Solomon. He was one of the wisest men that ever lived and many of the things I put faith in come from his teachings.

Yeah, I'd have to think about this. You're talking one meal, and Einstein or Plato are likely to be way over my head.

So I might lean toward pure entertainment value, like Robin Williams, or Mick Jagger for the laughs and stories. Or speaking of stories....Hugh Hefner.  Talking about AI and tech 50 years from now with Elon Musk could be interesting.

Adolf Hitler.  I’d love to hear his honest assessment of why he did what he did.  Not because I condone it, but because I think he really believed in his mission.  He may have been evil, but I don’t think he was crazy.

I’d like to have dinner with Hitler. But only baby Hitler. I’d give him his bottle and then, well, you know.

Well, if you're going to kill baby Hitler, then I'm going to Bill Cosby-Cleopatra.

Little known fact…..

Baby Hitler was actually an excellent conversationalist.  He was renowned for hosting dinner parties with a diverse guest list that included artists, poets, musicians, philosophers and captains of industry.  I think you would have enjoyed him.

I know it was a game before him but I’m amazed that for 150 years the mound distance, the distance of the bases are just the perfect distances for hitting/pitching and making it a game of inches all throughout. I have questions for him lol

I’ll punt him and baby Goebbels into the sun, as well.

That's a good one.
