Its pretty sad that someone loses their life from something so random and senseless. How unlucky are you to be in that exact place at that one second? A red light, getting up 1 minute late, taking your time eating breakfast, stopping and getting gas.......a million things could have put you seconds down the road when this occurred
In another form of bad luck, about 15 years ago my wife and I attended a Christmas Dinner at my school. 24 people were in attendance and there were 22 door prizes to be given out throughout the evening. No one could win more than once but nonetheless my wife and I went home empty handed.
That is a massive chunk of concrete. Damn.
