We were supposed to get 2-3" last night but ended up getting 8". Looks like we're supposed to keep accumulating throughout the week as well.

We got almost nothing north of Dayton. Schools still closed
North of Columbus: 2-3 inches on top of the 4 or 5 we got last week that still has not melted. It is also still coming down.
Chicago burb. We had 16-17” yesterday morning. Then a random 2” more came yesterday. I’m so fucking over this. Supposed to get 2 more days this week, so could be close to 2’ as none of its melting with the single digit temps.
Got 5” dumped on us 2 weeks ago, it almost all melted and then got 11”. Then the last week it’s been every other day just adding to it.
Only a couple inches in Wayne County.
Maybe an inch....my school district got 3 inches but just 25 miles north got 9 inches
We got another 4 inches yesterday evening.
Everyone ready for more of this junk?
I think we’ve got more snow in the last two weeks than the previous two years.
Our elderly neighbor gave me his snowblower to use for the week. I don’t mind shoveling, but I couldn’t turn that offer down.

We have 80 year old couple a few houses up.....my son and I cleared our driveway and my mom’s.....later that evening the the 80 year old wife posted pics of her husband shoveling snow.....I apologized via FB for forgetting them (but haven’t shoveled in a couple years either)
I got them down for the morning, Tues morn and Thursday around lunch
Looking at 9+ here.
Arkansas and Memphis area also getting 9+. That will be a nightmare for southern states to get that much
Chicago expecting over a foot. Cool. Why not see if my roof can handle 30+ inches of snow...

If you haven't already, invest in a roof shovel. It's a cheap tool and really good at pulling a lot of excess snow off the roof thereby lightening the load.
3 inches of snow and a bunch more coming now but it’s mostly ice...hope we don’t lose power.
We haven't got much yet, but it's starting to snow/ice pretty hard.
A few more inches, and some ice so far. It is still coming down too.
A dusting in Birmingham, AL on top of ice. Looks good and reminds me of home.
Fuck if I know. We were suppose to get 8-10.” There was a ton of sleet instead of snow. It apparently snowed after I went to bed last night and it was snowing this morning when I woke up.
I got rid of 2-3 inches last night. Had at least that this morning, probably close to double. So, I’d guess we got 8-10 inches.
Holy shit, Midway got 18”. We are 10 miles due west, so I’ll consider myself lucky.
An insane amount of ice...close to 3 inches of solid ice on the ground. Took some flat metal blade old garden tool and have worked my ass off today.

I probably spent a good 1.5 hours shoveling my driveway and back deck for the dog. It would have went quicker had i got my better snow shovel out of the shed sooner. I didn’t realize how much the one I had been using sucked.
I should get a snowblower next year but I don’t mind shoveling. When the kids are home and my wife is sleeping from working the night before, shoveling is the only workout I’ll get to today.

The stuff we have the snowblowers are useless.
If no tractor or truck blade....this is about the only option. Once you get it going it goes pretty good as long as there aren’t prior tracks from car tires.
We’re up to 18-28 inches in my yard, depending on where I measure. Had none last night at midnight and 8 when we woke up. I’m have ski reservations both days next weekend but will probably call out sick on Wednesday after the plows hit the pass and head to Winter Park.
I got a shit ton of pollen. Does that count?
