And where do you plan to go?
And where do you plan to go?
I was thinking about this the other day. My parents owe us a week of watching the kids (bc they watched my brothers) and we wanted to go to Europe, but I dunno if that will happen now. Maybe Caribbean for a week, but maybe somewhere driveable to stay away from airplanes and germs.
I wonder how bad the cruise industry will be now that they clearly are germy af unless they can change some things.
It's been a year since we went to Northern Ireland. Sucks seeing those memories pop up on Facebook every morning.
I want to go back. Time to start saving that up again. Unfortunately, with the job situation AND a potential move (now or within the next year) we have no idea when a vacation would happen.
As soon as my region in Italy allows us to go anywhere, we will be going somewhere within Italy for sure. As soon as we are allowed to travel in Europe outside of Italy, we will be doing that as well.
I'm a big fan of cruises, and they're trying to tempt me with low prices and a ton of onboard credit. But I just don't see that industry being back to normal (whatever that is now) anytime soon.
Pretty much all of the places I want to go just don't seem feasible ‐ cruise, Vegas, London, Germany. So I really have no idea when or where we'll end up.
Trip to Fla got canned due to this shit.
Next scheduled Vaca is mid June to Lake James in NE Indiana.
Other than that most "vacations" are weekends following the boy in his baseball fleecings, i mean, youth tournaments.
I was supposed to be in Barbados this week. That trip has been tentatively rescheduled to August.
Great question, I think about it daily.
Possibly PR or St Thomas in the summer, but when? Who the fuck knows.
I'd like to book asap, but I want a clearer picture of when non-essential travel will be ok. Flights are crazy cheap right now.

The daily Scott's Cheap Flights emails are killing me.
Was planning on going to Eugene to see the tOSU-Oregon game and touring Seattle and Portland, but with the uncertainty, we'll probable stick closer to home.
Wife, daughter, daughter in law, and wife's sister going to Hawaii in October. (Planned before the pandemic)
Captiva with family got cancelled. Rescheduled for between Christmas and New Years. If that is possible, that will be it.
We just got word an hour ago that two of the places we were going to rent in June in NE Indiana are cancelling their rentals through at least June so that sucks. We have been going there for nearly 20 years. Maybe summer 2021.

Looking at July to visit grandkids. Ohio to NC which we always preferred flying, but will most likely be driving. (We have a new car)
Not sure. Probably as soon as my wife goes back to work.
Ohhh - you mean away from home? No idea.
I will continue my quest to visit all MLB stadiums with my two sons and my friend that I have known since kindergarten and his two sons. Looks like this year is very iffy.

We planned Toronto in July for this reason, and it's looking like a no.
Hoping to go to Vegas last week in August but we shall see. With Vegas I can get 100% refund on hotel and use money for flight to book a future flight so if August doesn’t work out I’ll just keep pushing it back. My comp offers at Hotels are amazing right now.
With the wife we will probably plan a trip to St Lucia. Will probably book about 6 months after reopening and will probably purchase travel insurance for the first time.
ASAP
postponed one so far. others on hold, not into 3 weeks of staycations
