Have you had an Impossible Burger?

Anyone tried one yet?  It's supposed to taste pretty darn close to the real thing.  I've thought about it, but after reading and looking at the nutritional profile it's not really healthier, so I'm going to say no to the processed lab creation in favor of the natural processed cow meat.  If you're vegan or prefer not to eat animals, sure.

Voted never. When I saw the whopper vs impossible whopper compared, it wasn’t any healthier. Also, when all the meat was out in the grocery store, they were the only things left, so have to be awful. I’d try it for free though.

My wife had one and said it was...fine. But not a burger.

I have no interest in them, but I'd try one for free. I would never pay for one.

Never had and probably never will unless something happens and I can't get the real thing.

I've heard good things (same with the Beyond products), but I'll save them for vegetarians and vegans.

If it was healthier, I'd give it a shot in chili and maybe even meatballs.  But why sacrifice taste if it's not?

I'll never have one. Why would I want to eat that when I can have a real one which I enjoy.

I do my part lol. Not eating meat is not in my DNA, though. Very few dinners dont involve meat for me.

Pretty much my approach to any "meatless" substitutes to meat.

I had it when I was out in CA at the end of 2018 for the Rose Bowl. My buddy who is a vegan took me to this burger place that had it and told me to try it. I thought it was pretty good. Not a burger, but it was pretty good. It is an improvement over the bland veggie burger.

Same.

If they did a buy a whopper, get an impossible whopper for free I would go for it as I want to compare but I think that is the only way I would go for it.

If I had one, it'd be because I was at Burger King (which happens super-rarely) and they were out of, well, a lot of things. Don't see any reason to get a veggie alternative when, as has been said a few times, it isn't actually healthier. Kind of defeats the purpose of doing so, considering I'm not a vegetarian nor do I see any reason to even lightly consider trying to be one for any length of time.

Had one when it first came out, just for the heck of it.  Tasted "similar" to the regular burger, but you could tell something was different.  In that respect, it was still closer to the real thing than when you get a "veggie burger" in some restaurants.  No interest in getting it again, though.

I've had it. It's average, expensive and overall meh.

I worked for a vegan/plant-based centric company for a year. Tried enough fake meat bullshit for a lifetime.

If I'm going no meat I don't want something that resembles meat.

You want weird? Try vegan DELI SLICES.

How did I miss this thread.  I plea with all that I know not to eat something that is one ingredient shy of being linoleum.  It is not safe.
