Have they finally found Jimmy Hoffa?

Brought to you by the same network that gave us Al Capone's vault:

Seems pretty interesting.  Details come from the son of one of the mobsters allegedly involved.  He led them to a Jersey dump site where ground penetrating radar seems to verify his account (a bunch of steel drums buried over top about 12 feet down).

That would be a pretty remarkable coincidence to be fake or mistaken.  On the other hand, it's hard to believe no one has come forward as some of those guys have been chirping for over 20 years.  Could be a small group, and maybe a few died unexpectedly.  Was it respect, or punishment, that the mafia decided never to reveal where he's buried?

It Jersey city land, so Fox couldn't do any digging.  And I'm guessing with Covid a search may not be a high priority right now.  But I imagine they'll dig it up sooner rather than later.

Also in case you didn't read the article.  It's NEXT to the site that was owned by the mob and a known "dumping ground".  With the toxic waste, the site was cleaned up years ago.  Apparently, this location has always been the most popular theory, but since it was NEXT to the dump under a bridge, the location has never been disturbed.

That'll be interesting to see. I think the case became so popular, that a bunch of small timers who wanted to look big time "confessed" even though they didn't have anything to do with it.  A guy like Richard "The Iceman" Kuklinski, for example, said he killed Hoffa. But he also said he killed over 100 guys including Paul Castellano (Gambino boss). He's proven to be a huge fraud who was never a mob hitman and probably killed 3-5 guys as a small time hitman

Still wondering why the killer/s would transport a body from Michigan to New Jersey. There had to be a "million" places in and around Detroit to dispose of it.

I think that was actually brought up.  Agreed that "it was their prize" or "sending a message" seems pretty weak.  But I doubt transporting the body across several states would have been an issue for them.

If this isn't it, then he'll probably never be found.  To your point, if they dumped him in a river or lake that could explain why no one ever said where he was.
